I would agree that some Blizzard employees will say some things and not clerify them due to their stance on privacy making a lot of gamers pretty upset at times.

No, it won't be revealed for awhile. There is also an indication that it could be on consoles too (which would really upset me)

Yeah, I said this in an earlier post and I'll say it again. You lose some customization and gain a tone of customization. Rune System=Amazing

You lose customization with the stat system and gain customization with the new rune system.. Whats the big deal? It just makes it easier for the developers if they are making items for certain classes at certain levels. Also, people would just follow the guidelines they found online in diablo 2 anyway so it really doesn't matter.

Btw, I made a post about it but there are no microtransactions in Diablo 3.

"So Julian Wilson told us that you guys are looking monetize Battle.Net in some way. Is that right?

Rob Pardo: Wow, that's an evil way of putting it. Julian's turning into a business guy on me. Here's the way I would put it. We're definitely not looking at turning Diablo into a subscription based game. It's clearly not an MMO, so it's not appropriate to do a business model like that. The way we approach all of our games now, is we come up with what we think is a great game, and then we wrap the appropriate business model around it. If that's just a box price, then that's that.

With Battle.Net we're definitely looking at possible different features that we might be able to do for additional money. We're not talking about Hellgate or anything like that. We're not going to tack things on. I think World of Warcraft is a great example to look at. We charge people if they want to switch servers or if they want name changes, things that aren't core to the game experience, they're really just optional things that some people want. It takes us some development work to do it, so it makes sense to charge for it. We would never do something like say to get the full game experience, you'll have to pay extra."

I've always liked Rob Pardo :D...anyways..discuss

[QUOTE="crazymaghie123"]No this rumor was denied by Blizzard themselves. The Blizzard RTS team is working on Starcraft 2 only. Blizzard has no plans to start on Warcraft 4 or a "trilogy" set up.Xxgood-timesXx

hey crazymaghie if your able to find that article please post it in this thread.

I'll look for it. Logically though, Blizzard would be pouring all their resources into finishing Starcraft 2 rather than starting up a new title when there is a lot of work to be done.

I'm trying to find the article where the rumor is denied but I'm having troubles. I remember it specifically saying that this rumor must have started from a "misinterpretation of something one of our employees said".. With starcraft 2 being released as a trilogy and with still a lot of work being needed to complete that game it is impossible that warcraft 4 is in the works.
