To creaturemagic: ah i see. Il find some small empire that doesn't have them and sell them there. Yet i still do not understand, as i haven't expanded my empire in the past time, just kept using the spice i get from my star systems, and somehow my home planet's spice price lowered from 60k. Anyone got a explanation for that? To: psn8214: Not really, but spice is the best income of money.Micko9
BTW. Space stage is expansive and It'll take quite awhile to conquer the galaxy, and kill all the grox but if you have fun in space stage you may want to look into similar games eg A.I War or X3: Terran Conflict. So yeah when your done with Spore, if you enjoy space stage make sure you check out similar games.
As a quick question, out of star ruler and AI war which do you find better? I am going to play the ai war demo soon I just havnt had the time yet. So if I were to only pick one up, which would you recommend?Evochron Legends for a cool space-sim.
Star Ruler for a solid and ever improving 4x space strategy.
A.I. War for another kickass 4x style strategy game that is very unique and fun imho.
Sanctum, and FPS/Tower Defense hybrid that is actually pretty entertaining.
Revenge of the Titans is a defense strategy game that is also very addictive.
I have a ton of indie games, I have even purchased a few just to support the devs and I've yet to touch the game. That's how Star Ruler was for me, I picked it up a looong time ago, tried it once, it intially was no fun...then I started playing again about a month ago and it's been my primary game as of recently. You may like Trine, is Torchlight indie? Either way it's entertaining. I did also recently pick up Frozen Synapse on sale on steam, that is a very cool turn base strategy game.

As others said, KB&M all the way, you should never need a gamepad unless its a really bad port and usually they are not worth your time anyway. If you are into Valve games let me recomend Half Life 2 and Half life 2 Episode 1 and 2, these are the best FPS's to date, with compelling story, great gunplay, nice and fun puzzles, immersion beyond most other games and some really scary parts for a video game (Ravenholm anyone?). So yes, if you are at all intrested in FPS's or good story you should check out the Half Life series, they are pretty cheap, Half life complete, which includes Half life 1, Half life 1's expansions, Half life 2, Half life 2:episode 1, Half life 2 Episode 2, Team fortress classic and Hald life 2 Deathmatch, all for under $30 until the steam sales end, then its $40, but I would pay $100 for just Half life 2 its that goood, Honestly pick the Half life games up, NOW!!!
Hey guys, so there have been many threads like this, and there will be more after this but this one is here now so please answer it. So my question would normaly be "I'm a newb RTS/TBSer what should I get?" but this time I have some games I have been looking at that I would like you to compare, plus you can suggest others if you like. So the games I'm looking at are Starcraft 2, Company of Heroes (already have the first and enjoy it but I wiped my HDD and havn't re-installed so I would be looking at CoH:ToV) Frozen Synapse, Dawn of War, any total war game with a good MP, C&C:RA3 or any good C&C's and also Heroes of might and Magic VI (I have 5, only got it the other day and only played like 40 minutes but so far HOM&M5 was worth the $5 so HoM&M6 is on my thinking about list. Feel free to reccomend other games, I'm more looking for a Multiplayer RTS/TBS. I mean singleplayer stories are nice and skirmishes are good but I would really like an alive MP side, so I can compare myself with others and play against real people. There is just something so much more rewarding about beating a human. Anyway, thanks for all the replies I will be keeping an eye on all of em, will buy theone that you all recomend the mostand look into any that I havnt listed that you guys/girls recomend. Thanks!
That link just links me back to here http://store.steampowered.com/maybe instructions of where to click would be more aprropriate, thanks anyway
