They'd be wise to release a demo for this :( biggest_loser
WHY? I mean if it was a $60 USD game or $100 AUD game then yeah A demo would be nice after all the hyped games being lackluster (DNF). But its $40 no matter where you live, plus its PC explusive with all the features OP stated, you would be silly to pass this up if you are an FPS fan.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for adverts in magazines. Also I'll have a look at where Bondi is located.
Hey guys, so I'm a 15 year old kid who would like to get into the gaming industry. Lets get this out of the way, I am not one of those lazy kids who think they can do anything after school even if they get D's. I'm an A/B student and work hard at school ect. So being 15 I'm going into grade eleven next year. My question is what subjects should I be doing? I live about 2 hours from Brisbane QLD. So its only a town and not anything to flash. We don't have a large range of subjects and so please keep that in mind. I also would like to know what kind of place am I looking at going to after school? I know some UNI's that do Computer game Development and am thinking I'll go there but is there any other things like TAFE but for computer game design? Also the Australian gaming industry is not a thriving one and so I am thinking I'll have to form a small group of people and make indie games, where should I be looking? What state has the most Aussie game designers ect. Also I'm a little undecided about what kind of Game Dev I want to be. I don't have great artistic skill and so ruled out the animator/guy whodraws alot. I was wondering wether I should look more at game programmer or Game designer (the guy who is in charge) or maybe even just the game tester. So summed up I would like to know what subjects to do, what places to go after school and what the industry offers. Thanks!
Heys guys, I won't bore you with anything, I'll just get straight to the point. I'm looking for a space game. Now I know one big reccomendation is EVE but I just don't like paying subscriptions. So I just won't a one time pay game. I don't care if its single player or MMOish. I just want to fly around killing things withmy green and red laser beams and just fly through space pirating other people and collecting rare stuff. I dont even know if a game exists but thanks for your time :). Thankyou!
So with more and more developers either making lackluster attempts at porting console games to PC or just not making games for PC anymore which Developers can I put my money in? I have been a fan of some EA Devs and Valve and I don't think either of them are turning away from PC but is there any other companies dedicated to PC or atleast making good PC games. I am hoping Deus Ex HR isnt a bad console port and I'm also keeping an eye on some other games but it seems like most of this years games are either being developed with console as their main priority or just oversimplify the gameplay so that it works on console. So I ask you, forum goers, who can we look to when we want a good PC game. Also I like pretty much any Genre so any Dev will do. Also Indie devs are great if you want to tell me/other forum goers about a certain indie Dev thats cool. Thanks everyone
