I say Dean Koonts all the way becasue he makes me care about his characters EVERYTIME! I can never really get into Kings books. Anyways my favorite Koontz books are "Lightning" and "Watchers"raider1648The Dark Tower > All. I've never been a fan of Dean Koontz. I started reading Watchers once but couldn't get into it. King's books are always very well written, if a bit over dramatic sometimes, but they keep you hooked cover to cover. And he wrote IT, which is one of the best books ever.
[QUOTE="derekjeter2005"]First of all Heath Ledger's Joker is not The Joker. Jack Nicholson was the closest you can get to the real Joker

And, yes, The Dark Knight was EXTREMELY overrated.
Jack Nicholson was nothing like the original Joker. Joker existed before the campy TV version which Nicholson obviously based him off, and was way closer to Ledger's version in Dark Knight.[QUOTE="airg6"][QUOTE="Serraph105"]I gotta say I dont really care N8ANo, but you cared enough to post about not caring. burn! Sucks he was murdered, but not exactly an important date. It is to his fans. The fact that people go out of their way to disrespect and make fun of him speaks volumes on their character.
If you live in the US, then you should know these two. Anyway these are fast food restaurant and which one do you prefer and why?mohan88I think you'll find people outside the US know what KFC/Wendy's is as well ;) They're not exactly close kept US secrets.
Most same sex couples couldn't care less about religion and "marriage".
All they want is equal rights and their relationship to be open to the same advantages and respect as hetro couples. Which it isn't at present in nearly every so called "modern" country in the world.
If you're straight, two same sex people being together has absolutely NOTHING to do with you. It doesn't affect you in any way, shape or form. And while your argument might be rooted in some semblence of sanity, MANY others are simply homophobic and bred from hate and prejudice.
[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"]It only makes sense that more soldiers would come from the larger income group. It is only logical that there are fewer soldiers from a wealthy backround because the wealthy are a minorty, so of course there are going to be less soldiers from a wealthy background. Also, there is not as much of an incentive for a wealthy kid to go join the military. They don't need help to go to college, which is a huge reason why kids join the military.
So no, I don't think it is wrong for the military to be composed of mostly low income/middle class families. They just have more of an incentive to join. We are all American's first, regardless of economic class, and there is more than one way of serving your country. If the U.S, god forbid, got itself into a WWIII-esque situation and had to reinstitute the draft, I doubt the majority of the rich would moan and whine about enlisting.

A good example of someone wealthy serving, is Prince William. He was on the front lines in Afghanistan, serving with everyone else until a reporter pointed it out and put him in danger. I know that's UK but it's still similar.
edit: I didn't realize someone else beat me to it.
That was Harry, not William. Prince William is transferring to the Air Force and has never been in combat.
