I've seen it played on a P4 2.8 gHz, 1 gig RAM, and X300 on low settings averaging about 30 fps. And it actually looked pretty good. It'll play it, fairly well, too, but not with all the pretty stuff turned on.
Just pointing out that XPSes are actually quite decent. They're much better made than all the dimension's and inspiron's and such. In this case, your choice is basically between getting it now, or waiting a few weeks for slightly cheaper parts and some small manual labor.

Two reasons. One, it's cheaper. I built mine for just under 1200 bucks using my previous hard drives and licenses of Windows. The next cheapest one I could find pre-built was at Falcon-Northwest, for more than twice as much, almost triple. (I have an FX-74, by the way, I do realize not many boutique shops use these yet)
Airplane is nothing like Monty Python. Most of Airplane's jokes revolved around plays on words and stereotypical situations. Monty Python (the Life of Brian in particular) was a huge satire on the story of Jesus and most of their gags revolved aroundsome of the ideasof that time period.
