[QUOTE="Trickshot771"]IMO, Two Worlds is a game that's aimed towards older gamers who grew up on RPGs that are similar to it. It doesn't hold your hand like Oblivion.nyc05
Agreed again.:P
As great as Oblivion is, it definitely isn't a "hardcore" RPG. Two Worlds is more old school and it, like you said, doesn't hold your hand like Oblivion. I don't feel the need to truly compare the two because they offer different experiences. Both games are great in their own way, and while I do wish Two Worlds was polished up....alot, it's still a very good game in my opinion.
My beef with it is that it feels like the devs didn't even try to fix it. Advent Rising, another buggy game, was being pushed by Majesco on a team with only 15 programmers and then marketed improperly. I could understand why it was in shoddy condition. Two Worlds, on the other hand, was pushed back a few months and we still ended up with this buggy pile of bugs.
I have an unbelievably awesome idea for a game, only I can't do anything with it unless console makers decide to allow 'AO' rated games. I could theoretically make it for the PC, but I can't expect a decent amount of sales on a PC only title which can be easily pirated and won't be making much money anyways on account of it being AO and thus available to a limited number of customers.
That being said, I'm importing the UK version of 'The Witcher' because I support freedom of expression.
On a side-note, would The Statue of David be considered high art if he were wearing clothes and or a leaf?
[QUOTE="Dencore"]True.
Game has bad story but good gameplay *House of the Dead, Resident Evil 4* Great Game
Games has good story but bad gameplay it's a Bad Game.

I think The Longest Journey disagrees with you.
This man couldn't be more right. TLJ is a point and click adventure with the best story I've seen in a game so far. It doesn't have a whole lot going for it in the gameplay department. Neither does it's sequel, Dreamfall, but they both have such good stories that it doesn't even matter how twitchy the camera might be, how hard the puzzles are, etc.
That's not to say that all games with good stories have stories that good. But as a general statement, games with really good stories and not much else can still be great games.
John Maa (solo, some jazz band I forgot the name of)
James Malone (Arsis)
The dude from Mammatus
There are a bunch of good ones, just make sure you're not looking at power metal guitarists.
Nah. Linkin Park and Evanescence aren't metal either, btw :P If you need proof, listen to Dark Tranquility's Fiction, Behemoth - The Apostasy, Machine Head - The Blackening, or Nile - Ithyphallic. Anyone else super excited for the new Soilwork album? :Dd51man
Nope. They've been pretty bleh without Wichers.
