Hm. The most misinformed thing I've ever heard someone say... "PC > Mac". Yeah, that has got to be it.TrippinskottThat statement comes down to opinion. There is no real right or wrong answer.
I give the british credit for creating punk music, however north america took it and turned it from that lame "OI, anarchy" garbage with its heavy base lines, power chord solos and terrible lyrics and turned into something that doesn't make the ears bleed.BeamanAmericans created punk, but noone remembers The Stooges or MC5...
In terms of taste.... Either Archers and lemonade or vodka and lemonade, depending on my mood. Archers is almost sickly-sweet, so I don't always feel like it. I personally also quite like white wine ^_^
In terms of alcoholic content..... Absinthe, heh. Although that can be kinda hard to get hold of. There's another drink called After Shock, which isn't actually as strong, but feels a lot stronger. It literally makes your brain melt =P If I can't get either of those, I just start drinking vodka with less lemonade =P Straight vodka is nasty though.
Snomel
Aftershock is weak stuff. I drank a fifth of it for St. Patty's two years ago. Had a wonderful night, no hangover.
On terms of alcohol content (and I highly recommend you stay away from it), Everclear (95% grain alcohol, tastes horrible) is your winner. After that are Bacardi and Bocador 151, which will tear you up.
For taste, White Russians are pretty good.
[QUOTE="crucifine"]You seem to have been involved in that scene since it's culmination, which I haven't. I'm just going on what I know, which for someone without a couple decades of exposure, is certainly not omnipotence. Cryptic Slaughter is just the earliest band in my library to have a Grind tinge, and Possessed is the earliest in my library to have a Death tinge.zh666
I've only been listening to Death Metal and Grind since the late 90s...
If you dig Cryptic Slaughter check out these bands:
Aggression: http://www.myspace.com/aggressionmetal (check out: By the Reaping Hook, blast beats from 86!)
Wehrmacht: http://www.myspace.com/unitedshoebrothers (same drummer as CS!)
Ludichrist: http://www.myspace.com/mostpeoplearedicks (another Crossover band that blasted like CS)
Soothsayer: http://www.myspace.com/troopsofhate (pretty good Crossover Thrash like the Accused)
Angkor Wat: http://www.myspace.com/angkorwatmusic (great Crossover with members of Nine Inch Nails and Skrew)
Dead Brain Cells: http://www.myspace.com/dbcdeadbraincells (underrated Canadian Crossover)
Deep Wound: http://www.myspace.com/deepwoundhc (important Hardcore band that probably influenced CS, features J. from Dinosaur Jr.)
Neon Christ: http://www.myspace.com/neonchristfartknocker (fast Hardcore punk with a few blasting moments, not the best song examples though)
Siege: http://www.myspace.com/siegehardcore (important early grind influence)
also check out the first two Corrosion of Conformity, The Accused, D.R.I., S.O.D. of course...
thanks will do. bookmarked this page so i don't forget it.

Best pick by far, so far.
I would've picked 1970. Crazy awesome sax solo wins.
