This isn't the award for best selling console, or even best console. It's product of the year, which could have any manner of criteria. The XBox one does do some innovative things. Nothing anybody wants, but nonetheless it does them lol.
Last of Us is overrated. Great visuals, story, characters etc. In the cutscenes. The gameplay is just one canned sequence after another and repetitive. So if you like a mediocre game sandwiched between an amazing "movie" this is for you. If you want a game that makes you feel like you're actually in control of anything going on in the story, take a pass.
@joke_man @cryofax @RoyaleWthCheese I had a reply written then I realized we're having probably the dumbest argument of all time and I should be doing something constructive. Well maybe not the dumbest. I've seen people argue over Kim Kardasian.
@RoyaleWthCheese Your logical fallacy is that the free games have no impact on whether or not someone subscribes to PSN. By your own admission they "add value" to the subscription. Nothing that is taken away when you stop paying is free. The PSN "free" games cause more sales of the PSN. Same with the free rims with the car purchase.
It's semantics. They could as easily say the PSN subscription price is for the games and the network access is free. Bottom line is you're paying for everything you get on PSN no matter how they choose to format it.
@colbster It was terrible on the 360. Many games didn't work and nearly every one had slowdowns, no widescreen, glitches etc. Even if they do it I wouldn't count on it being very good.
Loved Heavy Rain and was excited for a sequel but this looks like some dumb action/stealth shooter. I hope I'm wrong and this is just a small part of the game's core.
