PS: dead spaces story was soooo original and gripping F***ING LOL... It was a cool game, but for someone who made DS to say other people don't know writing/storytelling is hilarious.

cool, take a game that was/is/has never talked about the insane writing/storyline, and bash it. I love the deadspace series, but to bash gears for its writing is kind of dumb. It was an action game, like an action movie.. i dont think many were awaiting the story. But hey, i guess its cool to bash a series thats sales total is like 10x that of your own game.. seems to be popular these days. =-=-= to bash a game like gears for story and writing and let a series like say, call of duty, off the hook looks blindly ignorant.. maybe cliffyb made fun of him or something in grade school.

touch screen gaming is like motion controlled gaming: it works well(sometimes very well) for certain games/genres, and should not be forced into others. I tried playing FPS games on my iPhone as well as a friends ipad, and i just cant enjoy the touch-screen joysticks.. people say to me, "well you can buy stick on thumb sticks that work well".. but then im not TOUCH-screen gaming and it defeats the purpose. =-=-= That said i have played a fair amount of good games on touch devices, and some reaaalllly fun motion controlled party games and such, but should they make touch screen/motion FPS games? for me the answer is no

[QUOTE="turtlethetaffer"]

[QUOTE="Phoenix_Chipset"] Because there are so many different series of Mario games and each one targets a different demographic.Phoenix_Chipset

TC never said that the milked games were bad. And Mario as a character is milked.

I suppose you could say Mario as a franchise is milked, but that doesn't really matter when again, the games in the different series are entirely different. You'd basically be calling the franchise milked but it wouldn't mean anything. Mario is such a loveable and recognize able character so of course they're going to milk him. :P

Ahhh, the old "its okay if its mario" comment. This pretty much invalidates any non-bias sheep could have. I do think it's funny you include halo:wars for halo, but not mario party/mario kart type games for mario. ODST doesn't even have the master chief in it. But you include them by name "halo". Yet absent are all the games with "mario" in the title. Thats the only thing i would change. I agree other than sports games, none need to have yearly releases. If you are talking main games only, i agree mario isnt over milked, but then neither is halo.

Seriously though, PS3 lost 6+ BILLION this gen. That's a lot of money for those who can't count. And no that is NOT yen. LOL Seriously though, sony/ps3 isn't going to die/burn, system wars is just a bunch of insecure people needing validation for themselves. It's almost as though SW'ers, before playing a game, have to go online and rant/defend about it before they can enjoy it... or more likely, they never play games, and just argue in sw all day.

The 360 always sells most during the holiday. I find it funny how cows are playing the "xbox is doomed" card when Sony is taking their biggest loss ever. MS can afford to lose a little money. They lost money all last gen just trying to get a foothold in the market. Xbox isn't going anywhere. The 360 is 6 1/2 years old, and it's the slowest time of year.Plagueless
^ this. The fact that its as old as it is, and sony's bluray equipped FREE online having system is still not over taking them is ROFL. Sony OWNED last gen, and lost most of there market. I'd say no matter where xbox/ms goes from here, it would be considered a success. Also, its nice to see cows laugh at ms losing money, and then claiming that sony losing money isnt important. LOL Sony has had company WIDE year end losses for how long? There stock is sliding and their company in need of "saving" as outlined by their CEOs. MS is fine.. And sony fans should be happy, what would all those sony vaio's do if they couldnt sell with windows installed? I wonder what operating systems the sony devs use to make games? I wonder what the shipping warehouses use.. interesting.

Aww TC, someones never played a diablo game before have they? lol Seriously hope that was a lame trolling attempt, otherwise. Still most of these young-ish gamerbabies just keep saying S*** like: "Skyrim stomps diablo 3" "diablo 3 is dated" "this game doesnt have killer graphics". Seriously, if you never liked the original, you wont like the 3rd in the series. Same with all the SC2 hate i hear: "its just like starcraft with new features and better graphics... wtf?!"... what do people expect? for these games to completely change genres?? to go first person?!?! In all honesty though, most of these haters are like 16-20, meaning they were like 8 when diablo2 came out.. or 4years old when the original came out(man i logged a lot of hours in diablo1 :))

The fact that people thought an xbla game would kill god of war was rediculous. The fact that cows kept up with the game, shows they were worried. The fact there is a whole thread on here about this is LOL worthy. =-= why doesnt anyone bring up psn miniS?? LOL Cows shouldn't try to make fun of xbla's record, it smashed psn in every way. But seriously, if a bad xbla is such bad ownage these days, system wars is getting slow. :)

[QUOTE="GioVela2010"][QUOTE="dRuGGeRnaUt"]I don't know, i've had my new gaming rig for a month now. and about 70% of the time i install a game(steam or not) i have errors, crashes and problems. Even starcraft 2 i had problems with. Installers crashing, games not installing properly. I have always had bad luck with glitches(console pc or whatever), but all i ever have is problems with my pc(which is ONLY used for gaming, not even 'net browsing). In the end, I always find a solution online. sometimes fast, sometimes it takes 1hr plus. I know this isn't typical of every pc gamer, but for me it is. I had to reinstall steam alone 3 times to get it functioning properly. Then there was the constantly re-updating my games that had already been updated... Then there were save file issues when transferring. Most of the blizzard installers/downloaders i have used have caused me nothing but grief(ESPECIALLY the diablo3 beta). -=-= All in all i love my new pc, but i know how to tweak things and fix stuff. Many people don't... or just don't want the ****ing hassle. With my xbox i plop a disc in, a 3-4mb patch and im ready to play. My ps3 usually fine, however my internet sucks and the 1gb+ updates are LAME, but still, power on + play for the most part. For many PC is just not the answer. I have never just turned my console off, then on the next day and had a game unable to run for some stupid reason... just my 2cents

Yep PC sucks a big one

I don't think it sucks by any stretch of the imagination. It is just more of a hassle in the long run for most. Just putting my pc together(which although at times frustrating) I love a lot, its fun. I love the games/interface/GAME PRICES etc. Its just that every fanboy can't admit its systems faults. xbox: paid online(i dont mind but still), dvd(s), less exclusives(as of late) ps3: poor online(unless you have good internet), poor software updating/installing PC: the problems i listed before. oh yeah: wii: I always forget about it because its in my bedroom being used a netflix hub/exercise system by my wife. (not bashing the wii, just not for me this gen. AND I TRIED HARD to like it:))

On a side note, it's VERY amusing how butt hurt hermits have gotten over losing their precious Witcher 2 exclusive.. and then getting a good score at GS no less. I would imagine its onto conspiracy theories about GS and its staff. lol. Seriously though, since W2 launched, there have been like 10x angry ignorant hermits making threads like this. But hey, people on SW don't play games, they argue facts/semantics/hype/hardware. You know, its a lot like the guy who buys a giant truck/sports car to make up for having non-existant junk, The difference? at least the truck/car might get you laid, whereas your precious gaming PC acts pretty much like p****y repellant. -=-=-=-=-=-=-
