they are 2 differnt games. both very good. but of the 2 batman games, ive played and beat them both 2x and sold them...probably about 50 hours. SS i have over 100 hours and hero mode adds a difficulty to the game that has been lacking from all other zelda games. not to mention that nintendo did more for the video game world with SS then Batman did with AC.
becasue the wii u wont have a 200gb harddrive and cost $600 at launch. im am not complaining, just stating a fact. id rather not have to spend lots of money on it day 1.
Wii/PS3/PC...L4D1, LoZ SS, Geometry wars galaxies 3ds...(so far) LoZ OOT, SMLand, Starfox 64...(but to be fair, i only have 6 games for it) DS...Tetris, NSMB, Henry Hatsworth GC/PC/Xbox/PS2...Unreal Tourny 2004, Need for Speed Hot pursuit, Smash Bros Melee N64/PC Counterstrike, Goldeneye 007, Starcraft SNES/Genisis...DKC, SuperMetroid, LOZ LttP. NES...Mario 3, Mario 2, Contra 1 Gameboy...Mario Land 6 Golden Coins, Metroid 2, Tecmo Bowl Atari...Asteroids, Pacman, DigDug. Im 30 and been gaming for 25 years, and despite having wife/2kids, i have no intent on stopping. TV is boring and id rather be gaming.
i admit, occasionaly im in awe of graphics. KZ3 looks amazing on my PS3. I loved L4D1 on highest setting on my PC. but i turn on my Wii and play LoZ SS and wonder how good dark souls would be with controls like SS. i would have stopped playing video games by now if i cared more about bland gameplay and amazing graphics then i do about the actual gameplay. I mean, i have over 400 hours logged on Geometry wars Wii but i beat GOW3 and traded it within a week of it coming out since it was just a better looking version or any other button masher.
Of all time, then L4D1. Resident Evil 1 on the GC was also amazing. I have high hopes for ZombiU dispite the name, only because 6 years ago, ubisoft release redsteel, then after that mess, they released red steel 2, which is top 10 FPS i played this gen over any system.(get over the graphics and enjoy the gameplay and its great game, with awesome controls.
Metroid, Zelda, Starcraft. ive always like the halflife series, but i dont play it anymore mostly for lack of games. I like lots of games, but those are about the only 3/4 if they didnt exist, i dont think id still be gaming.
Dark Souls, Demon Souls, Kingdoms of Amular. Dark Souls was a polished demons souls with less story, but demon souls is a better game overall. Kingdoms of Amular is a decent wannabe MMO, the action elements are just as good as a game like GOW3, but level elments make it just so much better. It really make me wonder why a game like GOW3 isnt as open as KoA.
you know what i care about....is when the Wii U come out because i will be getting it. not because of its graphically power, but becasue where else can you play a nintendo game. and we all know, nintendo has never been a leader in graphics, but a leader in innovative gaming. and when i get ZombiU and pikmin 3, i will never once complain about how it looks. anyone who actually care about graphics, should be playing PC games and not arguing in system wars about inferior consoles.
yea, mario paintball. If nintendo did it right, it would be one of the best FPS ever. could even put some elements from zelda or metroid into it. if done right, with upgrades and level systems that rival COD, but with mario(because its nintendo) it could be awesome. Just like a Starcraft style game done with mario/zelda/metroid/dk/universes...
