the more i see of this game, the more it reminds me of red steel 1. look great, use wii and motion features, to have a ok game at launch that was so over hyped that it dissapointed almost everyone. i know red steel 2 was a great game, awesome controls, exactly what RS1 should have been. so there is hope for zombiu. no matter what, day 1 i will be getting wii u, zombiu, pikmin, mario, and that p-100 game and probably anything else that looks cool.
i stopped reading about 1/2 down. for me, all that matters is a good game. and good games dont always have super amazing HD 1080 graphics. sometimes they are 8-bit games that have you addicted for hours. honestly, i never had a complaint about graphics in a wii game. my only complaint is because of everyone elses love of amazing graphics, great games on Wii got overlooked this gen and instead most of the world was playing COD over and over.
Wii N64 SNES Gamecube NES wii is 9 systems in 1 and 1 of them is gamecube. N64 and SNES are both systems that many people enjoy to this day. but wii dominates IMO. i do have over 100 games + Wiiware/VC to back that wii has a great library of games.
i think i might get this game now. i havent like ninja gaiden since the 1st on xbox or before. all others took away from what the series actually is, burtally hard.
l4d 1 was awesome. l4d2 was rushed out and not as awesome. i dont want to see more. just let me enjoy l4d 2 for a few more years without making a subpar prequel.
id like to see another DKC...but since it wouldnt take as much effort to do a sequel...they should work on metroid again. star fox is a dying IP and nintendo even see's this. And as much as id like to see what retro could do with a zelda, i rather see nintendo keep zelda inhouse.
reason why wii didnt hold up this gen is because it didnt get the HD super graphics versions of COD like xbox 360 did. I have over 100 games for my wii saying that there are plenty of games to be played, good ones as well as shovelware. But becasue it didnt have the graphic power of xbox and ps, people got bored with it. I admit, i play games becasuse i enjoy them...and ive always have a PC/Nintendo. This gen is the 1st time i felt like i missed games not having another console. my ps3 get less use then my wii still though.
before everyone starts hyping ubisoft's games....remember that red steel 1 was a launch game from then for the Wii. hey, i enjoyed it, but it was a failure of a game. No matter to me though, i will be getting a Wii U day 1 and ZombiU as well.
i hope that nintendo makes an all new HD zelda game that is annouced at E3 along with 3-4 core games that will be released day 1 thru 5/6 months. not a spin off or remake. just a new game.
sorry to say...but i own over 100 wii games. and if what your looking for is innovation with core gaming, then wii is like no other console. Muramasa, Little Kings Story, Prime 3, LoZ SS, SMG2, DKCr, NMH2, Red Steel 2, Brawl...i mean, i could ramble off like 20 or 30 games that are must plays if your a video gamer. Wii didnt have graphics, and it didnt have very good online. that doesnt mean there are amazing games. did i mention that the Wiiware/VC add 100s of games? o and im 30 with a son who would rather play COD MW3 on my ps3 then mario. why...because his friends do at school. that tells me what game is more childish...IMO of course :)
