Which is better, Elder's Scroll 4 Oblivion or The Witcher? If The Witcher is better, why did Oblivion get a much higher rating than The Witcher?

What are the possible risks for using a 'no brand name' 500 watt psu on this system: Core 2 E6750, 8800gt, Gigabyte P35-DS3L mobo, 5.1 speakers, 160 gig harddrive, 1 dvd rom drive, 19" wide screen lcd? Is there a possibility damaging any of these components?

I'm thinking twice of getting a Corsair 520 watt psu which is highly recommended. Because I can get a 'no brand name' 500 watt psu which is 4 times cheaper than the Corsair 520 watt. Need your advice. Thanks in advance.

I guess I have no choice but to get a new psu. My current psu (350 watt) has had served me very well on my present system which is around 6 years old, Pentium 4 2ghz, Ati Radeon 9600xt. I'm planning to make a MAJOR upgrade but won't hurt much my pocket, that was why I was asking if my current psu is still okay. Most probably I'll get one of those brandnames you've suggested. Thanks a lot guys for your tips.

Is it worth getting a quality psu or just get a no name psu which is cheaper? If it's worth it, could you recommend one which is around 500 watts? Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't be a problem, unless you are putting power hungry components inside your computer... TicTac8745

Thanks for your reply.

So a system with a P4 2Ghz,a 160gig sata harddrive, an Ati Radeon9600xt, a creative 5.1 speaker system, a 19" widescreen lcd system would be ok?
