If the name of Battlefield 3 was change to Call of Duty: Battlefield then it would sell a lot more. The fact is that COD is popular with a whole generation that has never been exposed to Battlefield.gamebreakerz__

Another pc gamer that is more interested in feeling special than actually having fun with games.

WoW and The Sims have long been top selling pc games and have plenty of children playing them. Baldur's Gate II came out years ago and I could just as easily compare it to complex RPGs on the PS1.

You It's possible to own an gaming pc and not develop a lame elitist attitude. But maybe you need the extra ego boost in your life.

P.S. I play on both pc and consoles.

NGP is bulky and over-engineered, 3DS is gimmicky. I suppose I would prefer the NGP but I doubt I will buy one.

If it meant I could have a unified gaming service to play with my friends, patch all of my games automatically, keep hackers at bay, cross game chat, offer a decent social environment, etc, then sure. $29 is nothing. i would pay the same if steam offered a unified service for all PC games as well.

but anyways jailbreak issues are not Online anymore, from what I understand a recent security patch has blocked hackers from getting Online and the hackers themselves are "Stumped" as one prominent one is quoted saying he is "Rather impressed" with the update. Go nuts, I hope you enjoy Live for everything it offers, doesn't mean it's a good way to use your money. When you do something when you are "Forced to" do something that is free elsewhere is usually a bad sign. I know it's hard to admit after investing alot of cash, but like it or not Live shouldn't be pay to use.Jynxzor

Justifying Live is pretty rough unless you REALLY really love cross game voice chat, or some of the other more "amazing" features that Live provides over "well at least over PS3" other systems.Jynxzor
