@ArchoNils2: I don't see how Tidus was irrelevant to the story. He got Yuna thinking about what she might want for her own life, and was the only person to really push for finding another way to defeat Sin. Without him, Yuna would have died like every summoner before her, and Sin would have returned again.

A deep campaign. Have tons of new vehicle parts and upgrades you can buy between races, and parts that wear out over time and need upkeep. Have it really impact what your f-zero can do. A warp-drive thing that jets you halfway around the track, heavy bumpers that keep you from being pushed around, single-use traps that damage cars that drive through it after you drop them, and a single-use portable charger that heals your vehicle on the go.

@tomalevine: Yeah I guess I was thinking about that a little after I posted it, and maybe the system running Windows wouldn't be a good thing. Some specialized, console OS version of Windows though, maybe?

I also think most internal parts of the system shouldn't be able to be swapped out. There's some things that have to stay on the same even playing-field for a console to be a console. Even though they are seemingly going to release incrementally-improved versions of their console moving forward, we generally have to be within the same 5 years or so of one another.

I think Stadia could be a strong contender one day, even if current feelings toward it are a little weak. Sorry you're being criticized for having an opinion that goes against what the humdrum masses think.

The Switch is a decent system, but it still comes with occasional irritations like the systems that preceeded it. There are games worth playing on it, and games that you might be better off finding another way to play. The handheld mode is fun and provided some extra value to older games like Skyrim, which I think runs alright on it.

If you want to save money, there are better values for your buck than the Switch. And surely in 4 or 5 years there will be some successor to the Switch that is more powerful and prettier. I would recommend the Switch mostly if you aren't planning on buying a massive library of games for it, because that will add up. If you want to play some Diablo 3 and Witcher 3, it might suffice.

I remember years ago in hs, a peer of mine said he heard games would be made entirely by machines one day. The notion didn't really sound right or sit right with me.

We still haven't reached that point, that I know of.

Wow, maybe calm down a little. Go outside and get some fresh air, go for a walk. This is just a website for video game fans, it's playtime basically. I get that you'd like it to be functional, but they don't really owe us anything.

@sealionact: I am having the same issue.

Hovering over the red notifications bell gives me a red bar that says there's an issue, and clicking the red bell gives me an error.

It's been that way for just the last two days or so for me, I think.

Idk, could be cool. And I mean, don't think it'd all just be lowly mortal criminals, since I'm sure they could have Lex, Bizarro, Mxy or any other supervillain causing trouble.

And maybe you would have to save people from things going on and have to be selective about how and when you use your great power?

I have no clue how it'll sell in comparison to the One and One X.

But I imagine Microsoft could benefit from the late-gen slump. They already have pretty great services in place with Game Pass and Games with Gold, and with most of the noteworthy games on the system being BC clear back to the XBOX days, there is definitely a lot of content and value there. A lot of games that didn't get much exposure will probably find new fans.

You have most of the big ones once you get BotW, and maybe Splat 2 and Mario Maker 2. I'd also suggest Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (and 1 is being re-released soon!)

I agree that FE 3H isn't my favorite FE game. I don't hate the talking, but it does mess with my OCD having to run around and find everyone each week or whatever. I kind of miss the GBA days when the heroes didn't have the time to wander off and build relationships outside of battles lol.
