I have. The story is really stupid. The story doesn't look stupid to me because if you're aware of the state of things globally an EMP attack is probably the easiest way to conquer America. Also, I think China and other communist countries are most likely to try and do it. It simply makes sense whether you like it or not is your own cup of tea.
I like the concept, but I bet the execution won't be that great. Who knows yet though? I have to consolidate my purchases so I'll probably get RAGE instead, but I'm still open to the idea of buying it. Trouble is, it has to be a shooter and I already have tons of shooters. Too bad it's coming out when a bunch of others will be out. I doubt it will do well as a new IP.
The Microsoft Conference sucked, but if you include the multiplatform games coming to the 360 within the next year, it was a major success. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Halo: Reach, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Child of Eden, DeathSpank, Fable III, Gears of War 3, RAGE, Sonic 4, Medal of Honor.
There will never be Blu Ray disc drives because Sony gets a cut on every one sold. There isn't a need for it. Next generation, probably. We'll be running off 4 layered Blu Ray. Oh, and of course it would hike up the price of the console considerably.
With the huge amount of titles coming out later this year I need to save my money. I'll probably be getting a bunch later this year, but for now I'm waiting for Reach. I'd like something to new to play, but I have a few games around the house that I just haven't spent much time with.
A beta is meant to give a taste to gamers and test the game itself. What better than a bunch of ravenous gamers exploiting it before it gets fixed? Look at the Halo: Reach beta. They acknowledged that it was meant to give players a taste of the action AND test the game.
When it really comes down to it, which one has the beards? Medal of Honor.
Seriously though, I bought MW2 and now it just feels wrong. I never bought Battlefield: Bad Company 2, so I figure I'm getting the best of both worlds by getting Medal of Honor.
