Nice review Gamespot, this Spin-off looks promising, the only thing this is different from other Hack/Slashs games is that MGR has Blade Mode which lets you cut anything at will, and most of all, it is a Spin-off after all so this is a buy for me today. This game will put all the Jedi to shame for there lack of there Lightsabers not cutting like Raiden. [I'm looking at you Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for no Blade mode or Lightsaber mode that is]
Bungie has been working Destiny ever since they finish Halo Reach and so far, making a game like this takes time and rescurce to make this and not only that, it looks like they want to push the Xbox 360/PS3 to it's limites.
I was not expected Destiny to release this year anyway and from the looks of it, this is well worth the wait and not only that, there are other games that will keep me busy which will make me forget about Destiny. I'm hoping Bungie shows up this years E3 2013 for more details and gameplay on the show.
For crying out loud people, this is a Spin-off, not a sequal to Metal Gear Frenchies and this game has been in development for 3-4 years. Everyone needs to know this is just a Spin-off and I play all the Metal Gear games [but not the Handhelds] and I like what I'm seeing and I play the Demo from Zone of the Enders HD so this is a first buy for me.
As I'm telling everyone, it was Gearbox that **** up, not Sega. Sega's only fault was putting their faith in a studio that couldn't dedicate the in-house resources to make this a quality product. Gearbox outsourced to 2 other studios so they could worry more about their Borderlands. A publisher can't keep their eye on a developer 24/7 and are not privy to everything they do sometimes. In this case, Sega was blind-sided by a lack of respect for an IP and them as a publisher from Gearbox in other words, Gearbox made this game even worst then Duke Nukem: Forever. Angry Joes Review was spot-on whats wrong with Aliens: Colonial Marines.
