Heavenly sword did not flop, it got 8.0. Ninja Gaiden 2 got 8.0, is that a flop? No. Just didn't live up to the hype.

The mandatory install results in PS3 version of multiplats and PS3 exclusives having better loading times than the competition. GTA IV loads faster and less frequently on the PS3 than on the 360, same with Devil May Cry 4.

ALSO...you listed some 'lost exclusives' but you listed Bioshock as 'late to the party'. I would consider Bioshock as a stolen exclusive from the 360.

I never played Saints Row, but it can be argued that it only got popular because closely followed (or copied) GTAs formula, while being the first of it's kind on the next gen consoles. Everyone was sitting around waiting for a gangster, mission based, freeroam game to come out, and since GTA IV was far off at the time, SR kinda filled the waiting void.

In anycase, SR2 has a pretty solid crowd waiting for it, and the game itself look pretty cool. But honestly, rockstar INVENTED this genre, i dont think SR2 will top GTAIV.

I can't believe such a briliiant man is near (or at) the head of R*. I have to admit, this guy just landed a home run with me. He basically summed up my exact feelings on the current situation of gaming.

What the wii is doing is great, but the gaming audience I'm a part of wants ground breaking, new things that definately do rival movies and novels. Its unbelievable that I came across a thread like this, this guys ideas are like almost right out of my head.
