For those of you who don't already know, it's been announced that Ninty is gonna be charging money for certain online games. A "Pay and Play" system apparently.

I dont feel like paying money to play brawl online. Even if the result is nicer features like voice chat and maybe if they scrap the FC system, I just want a leaderboard and to vs real people, which the wii does just fine.
For some serious online gaming i got my 360, and I want a casual online for my wii that's free.
There's no word on when the Pay and Play system will be implemented, so mayyybe brawl will be left out of the whole thing. But I bet Mario Kart will need to be payed for to play online.
Kinda stinks.
It's late, all the fanboys are sleeping. Check this thread again in the morning, and try to keep it alive.
I dont have an xbox so i dont know how to compare it's online to the PSN's services, but I think XBL offers a few more features that make the online a lot more accessible, and make the online community tighter as a result. I guess it's generally better. Each 360 comes packaged with a headset too, so it's very easy to communicate online. Not always a good thing though...you get all the kiddies screaming and swearing and blasting linkin park in the background.
FPS games just dont even feel like shooters to me. It's really just mostly run n' gun action. Third person shooters like Gears, Uncharted, etc, actually feel like epic shooters because you can actually SEE your character rolling for cover, shooting over corners, get hit, change weapons, and the whole thing feels more complete.
FPS games, no matter how renowned, just feel like arcade games. I played R:FOM and couldn't even finish it. COD4 online is basically shooting for 30-45 seconds (if you're good), dieing, and doing it again.
I dont understand how this genre is so popular.
Does anyone get what I'm saying? Does anyone agree?
