Selling consoles is the smartest thing in the world. Its not like we're still in the middle of this gens life-cycle, and more games that will possibly interest you will come out.ThunderdroneI've been waiting since 2006 for "games that might interest me" and so far I have bought 5 games for my wii, and returned 2 of them. You can defend it all you want, but next to a PS3 or a 360, it's very clearly of lesser quality in terms of games and value.

Right now, my PS3 is getting all my game time. My wii has been colleting dust for MONTHS, occasionally being turned on to make sure my brawl skills are intact, then turned back off for another few months. I'm unemployed, no money, and spent a month trying to find a job, and so I'm desperate. I been itching to get my hands on pokemon platinum and in the near future, scribblenauts, so I'm thinking of selling my wii to fund a DS.
The problem here is that I have quite a bit of sentimental value attached to my wii (LOL, keep it clean) because of the memories i have of waiting in line for it in the freezing cold and snow for 12 hours with some amazing people. Also, I dont want my brawl skills to rust(also, i have no desire to get any currently announced future wii games). I'm torn. I realllly want to get my hands on a DS, and it seems the only option is to sell my wii.
Opinions plx?
We don't compare between consoles precisely because they have different capacities. If we started judging between consoles, everything (handhelds included) would have to live up to cutting edge PC graphics, motion controls would have to be standard, and why are these clumbsy PCs so hard to take on the bus? Point being, the standards would become meaningless if you judge things beyond their hardware capacity. DerekLoffinThat's why when something like No More Heroes Scores AAA, you can't compare it to a sandbox/beat em up like Prototype which is AA and say No More Heroes is CLEARLY better . That's kind of what the TC is getting at. The wii is held to a lower standard . Is it fair? I duno . Does it matter? I don't think so.
Disney has ****ing done it again. This movie encompasses such a wide audience, but not in the way the wii does; it effectively pleases everyone it's aimed at.
I watched "UP" in 3D, and it's breath taking. The layers of physical depth coupled with vibrant colour designs transcend charm and cuteness and takes on an art form. I have a feeling people will rag on this movie because it's animated, it's Disney Pixar, and some will discredit it immediately. Big mistake; sitting and watching sky scenery and valley scenery with 3D effects and such a clean/crisp animated design, you just have to stop and appreciate it, whether you're 8 or 78 years old.
The story is surprisingly layered. You can take it as a whacky adventure of flying houses and cute chubby little kids, but there are ideas caked underneath the charm that surface in the more serious parts of the film. Ideas like obsessively clinging to the past to the point it blinds you from making the right decisions, ideas like what the spirit of adventure is supposed to be about. There are many scenes that poke at your emotions with themes of loyalty, courage, love, and even some more serious scenes with depictions of steelcold suits crushing the last remnants of a little boy's roots and imagination, all executed with symbols that don't register right away, but you can pick out if you have a critical eye with which you can appreciate that sort of thing. The point is that it's there, perhaps outside the vision of a little kid, but there to be appreciated by older viewers.
"UP" is just teeming with charm, layered with meaning, and executed brilliantly. I hate that people will peg this as a movie that's only good for a few hours with the kids. It's a good movie to see with your friends if you want to see a movie that will make you laugh, tear up, and even think about some abstract ideas that don't come up in our lives, but that exist in many others'.
Whether you watch it or not, you should understand that this is a very good film, worthy of a lot of praise, but constricted because of it's image.
Are you kiddinggg she looks so ****ing cute in those pics.Do you mean this girl?
Honestly, not really.

Loll yeah some PULSE episodes have nothing that interest me in them...but there's always one thing (or, someone) that keeps me downloading every ep. I guess that's what sony's plan was with Christina Lee; and I guess it works.Yes. I watch pulse on mute and in slow motion just for her.
