@sladakrobot: You sound like those Wii U fanboys (the hardcore ones) living in a fairy tale world thinking that something sold great when in fact it's the contrary......... but eh, whatever helps you sleep at night I guess my friend
@sladakrobot: you make a good point........... but uhhh what other game that was discounted over the holidays is releasing a demo afterwards? I'm gonna wait for answer and you better not run from it.
Oh my God..... I was just praising the whole idea of doing this when this news first broke out but after seeing what the trailer looked like.......... *runs to the toilet to barf* Are you serious? Wow!!
@wkadalie: same thing I was thinking. It's like they are panicking the game didn't meet sale expectations so now they're trying to throw the whole kitchen sink at gamers to get them to buy the game.
Th game was already discounted over the holidays... if that wasn't enough to entice people then...........
On the other hand a demo is always a good strategy since it's free. But it can also function as a double edge sword. Some will try the demo, like it and buy it, some on the fence thinking about buying the game will try the demo hate it and not buy it.
Hopefully and whatever the case I hope they learn their lesson next time to know how to choose good release date for their damn games.
