Good build, apart from that 480 which I'd replace, it runs too hot, and sucks too much juice. But wouldn't the OP enjoy an AMD system just as much? Cheaper too.

BluRayHiDef

Yep the build I posted is under 1K and performs nearly the same

Yes, but it doesn't have the GTX 480 that HE WANTS. Nor does it have an i5/i7 processor that HE WANTS. I'm giving him what he wants. Also, i7s are better than Phenom IIs for multi-threaded tasks such as video editing.

True but what he wants isn't exactly necessary - those links above are just as good. I'd switch out the GPU for a 6870 though.

Don't forget pirated console games. I know people who buy every new release for a few bucks on a modded console. It doesn't matter what the publishers do. There will always be pirates just like there will always be cockroaches.

Try livemixtapes.com for free mixtapes, and yes they are legal promotional tapes.

Great build, consider a pair of 6870's as an alternative, and if you want to do video editing get a six-core 1090T.

I agree - White Wolf is cancelled. This is a game best experienced on PC, and I bet everyone agrees those were some nice sex cards. If you have the North American version you need to patch it uncensored. It will probably stay on PC too, but either way the version for PC is in the hearts of the developers and they won't disappoint.

Prexxus

It's not cancelled.

Cancelled:

Sorry but 'HD ready' means 720p.. in the Uk at least. Any tv that can output 1080p is stated as 'Full HD' I have never seen the phrase 'hd ready 1080p' on any tv

SPBoss

It's just another marketing term. HD Ready 1080p means the same as HD Ready, but being able to display a 1080p output. We have this in the UK to.

But i thought all tv's that are capable of outputting 1080p are stated as 'FULL HD'?

They are now. Virtually any new TV even the cheap ones are full 1080p, but that doesn't mean the quality is good.

By age 11 most can tell the difference between a game and real life. Besides...in many many other countries sexuality is not something they look down on.

Watching porn and being molested are very different. At school, especially in public schools much worse happens.

Animatronic64

Even so, the brain is FAR from being fully developed at the age of 11. You shouldn't encourage children at that age to watch hyper violence.

There's loads of people who would disagree with you that porn and being used/molested is very different. I'm a teacher for children between the ages of 7 to 12, I'm very well aware of what children experince on an daily basis, in sweden at least. But that doesn't change my stance on that you should expose the young mind more than you have to.

I grew up on hyper violence, and I'm pretty normal. In fact, I'm not aggressive in the slightest. Ratings should exist, but parents should make the choice. If they think their kid's mature enough to handle it, so let it be. Didn't do my dad any harm.

I agree. I doubt Manhunt 2 will make you take a pair of plies to someone's balls.

You only connect one SATA cable to the motherboard for each hard drive and run one SATA power cable from the PSU to each hard drive, then Windows will see 2 drives on boot up and you can copy between them. You don't plug one SATA cable between 2 HDD's.
