GPU is fine, and the case I'd recommend is this Two Hundred:

That case is too expensive.

Whats wrong with the current one?

Thank you

You wanted a side window. I'd go for an Antec Two Hundred. I built my first 2 PC's in them. Decent for the price.

Thank you for the response,

Antec TP-550 and Antec Truepower 550w are the same right?

Also i was looking for a case with a clear side panel, any recommendations?

EDIT: Also, the PC's main use is not gaming, but i would like to do some video/photo editing (ie. Adobe After afffects CS5 and Photoshop CS5). Is the GPU sufficient for this?

CPU is fine; if you want to save a few more seconds consider the X6 1090T, but the 965 is sufficient. The TP is the newer version; the TruePower is discontinued. If you want a side panel, I'd recommend this:

(And no, I don't work for Antec:D)

Stick the DVD in the disc in the drive, reboot, and select the option to repair windows. You might need to do it twice.

The_Capitalist

Already tried that. Many times. Doesn't seem to work.

I believe that it's because the bootmgr is damaged on the hard drive or something... The entry from EasyBCD seems to indicate this...

Hmm, thats not bad at all, side power jacks right? Maybe the hd6950 will be under 10.5 after all, but we will just have to wait and see. (I don't think they have stated much on the 6900 series yet).

Lach0121

If I recall, power jacks on the top of the card; 2 six-pins. Slightly bigger than the 4890 I replaced it with.

hmm is there anyway you could post a link or a pic of your card?

My reference Sapphire 6870 is 25.4cm or 10 inches. It fits fine in my Antec Two Hundred with 2 inches of space left.

I'd change the PSU to an Antec TP-550, the case to an Antec Two Hundred. Otherwise its fine. That GPU will need upgrading relatively soon. If you can afford it, consider the 6870.

lol shoudn't you be playing black op's? :?

theuncharted34

Wow. That was helpful.

It seems you haven't seen the 15+ threads he's made on black op's. Why is he worrying about Metro 2033 after all his excitement over black op's which is out now?

Maybe because Black Op's desn't work properly and neither does Metro 2033. I'd uninstall those drivers, run Driver Sweeper, then install the newest drivers and reboot. Then install DirectX and try playing it again.
