@Thanatos2k: I hear what you are saying but keep in mind they treat The Master Chief as more or less an Xbox Mascot. I just can't see at least at this stage they would bring it to PC. From what i have been hearing there are at least another 2 games after Halo 5 so it's an ongoing franchise for the XboxOne. At least Halo Wars 2 will be PC as well. Will definately choose PC for that. I hate using controllers for RTS.

I managed to get it preordered at a fair price just for the game and picked up a 1TB standard black console with Halo MC pack and two codes fro digital copies of Unity and Black Flag which wasn't too bad. Since then picked up Forza 6 and Rare Replay. Also took advantage of the great deal on Xbox Live for Forza Horizon 2 for ultimate edition. Until i realised it doesn't include the new storm dlc which was a bummer.
Not sold on that colour scheme for the Halo 5 console though, if it had have been lit blue instead of painted blue that would have been great but it looks a bit cheap and nasty with that paint scheme. Plus black just blends into my entertainment console.
@wayneextremity: For the framerate it is often because stupidly they leave the PS4 with unlocked framerate in games instead of say a locked 30 on XboxOne. This works if the game consistantly runs at 60 for example but if the PS4 suffers drops into the 40's back upto 60 etc it is going to look far less smooth than a locked 30. It's a crazy choice for console hardware unless it can remain at a locked 60 at all times.
I've been using a 1440p 144hz PC monitor for gaming and it's always super smooth with gsync. It would be great if they could add freesync to consoles seeing it's AMD based hardware.
@GarGx1: Doubt it's the card as the one i use is the Strix DC3 OC which is a nice card. What system specs are you running besides the card though? That probably has alot to do with it.
@GarGx1: Did i ? I can't remember saying the PS4 was weak well not as far as consoles go anyway. It's not comparable to a gaming PC though. I am still thinking of getting a PS4 next year for Uncharted 4 , Horizon etc all the same.
@elessarGObonzo: Oh it is probably just my system then. I have been holding off upgrading. Still using an I7 930 @ 3.8 from 2010 :) . It's a good old workhorse but it doesn't like some game engines.
I am thinking of getting a new Skylake I7 soon though. What sort of a difference would it make in games in general?
@A8ADD0N: As fun as Halo can be i am hoping Halo 5 single player offers much more. Just after playing games such as Bioshock Infite which is just incredible how immersive it is, it will be a letdown if this is just another shooter with simple objectives.
@Thanatos2k: Simple answer is they are smart enough to know it is the sort of product that will sell consoles. It is unlikely to ever come to PC as they won't risk sales of the console.
I love PC gaming but i got an Xbox One just to play games such as Forza 6 , Halo 5 and especially Crackdown 2 and Quantum Break and Scalebound which may come to PC but not for some time.
I still get the games on PC for multi platform releases though as i'd rather play Arkham Knight at 90 fps in 1440p than 30 fps in 1080p and despite all the crap going on about how bad the PC version is, I am 39% through with an average framerate of 78-90 fps with gsync on max settings and it is just so smooth and stunning.
I did notice most of the complaints are people with reasonably weak gpu's for 2015 though or AMD which is still to be fully optimised in next update.
@iplo: It will once 4k with no blur is the standard for VR. Still a way off for now though which is why i am not bothering about it until it gets to that quality level.
