Over priced hardware and no good selection of games is the problem, Nintendo had the same problem with the 3ds. Nintendo can't directly compete with Sony and MS, they need to be different and make games that the other two are not covering.
All the games I play are not on PC so PC gaming is not important to me. Plus when I get a console I don't have to upgrade it every year because of improvements in tech. When I buy a PS3 game it always works on the console, I don't need to check the specs and see if my PC can handle it or not. So if you have lots of money and time PC is the way to go, but most of us don't. This is a no shit article, of course PC are more powerful. Everyone knows it, so big deal. I have a laptop for my computer needs but I don't use it for games and I don't need to either, some of us have to work for a living and don't have mommy and daddy buying us the newest stuff every year because they feel guilty about never being around.
Who is Phil Harrison trying to convince, the public or Microsoft it's self? Every week an article like this is coming out here at GS, MS sounds frightened not confident.
This article tells me one thing more then any thing else, MS is starting to get desperate. For a long time the attitude towards Japan from MS has felt like who cares we have NA. But things are different now and MS is trying to mend broken fences so that they can stay relevant in the gaming industry. Any way by this time next year we all will see just how big a mistake MS has made with the Xbone and windows 8.
The PSP is a great handheld system I play games on it still and will for years to come, Danny is entitled to his opinion but I don't agree with him about most of the points he made. As for the Vita I agreed with most of the points he made, except I never had any problem inserting the charger properly.
