Metal Gear Solid - I'm not a fan of stealth games. The crazy mechanics like Psycho Mantis, and the wacky characters/lore do seem cool though.

Mass Effect - I don't know enough about it to have real disdain for it, but the gameplay didn't look that appealing to me.

Elder Scrolls - The worlds and lore seems great, but the combat looks terrible.

Most sports games

How was this supposed to be a whole thing, and not just a dlc mode?

@saint-george: It does appear to have more preorders than Ronin, but it looks like the deluxe versions of The Show and DD2 are higher. Unless I'm looking at the list incorrectly. Good for SoT. Sony should do better.

@hardwenzen: I agree. One of those videos in your post made it seem like it was going for realism, or at least somewhat historically accurate. Then it shows the character fly off on his kite and fight some giant dude monster. I was half expecting a giant enemy crab to show up.

@sealionact: I didn't say it wasn't a good game. I've never played it, so I wouldn't know. It just blows my mind that #1 people preorder anything, period (especially with PlayStation's crap ass return policy), and #2 that people would preorder old games. It's nuts to me.

All I'm saying with the 500,000 to 500 is that we need more data. Did SoT get 100,000 preorders, and Ronin get 99,999, or 4,500? It's not insane that a successful Xbox game being released to a new audience would do well, versus an unproven property, that doesn't seem to have much buzz. Maybe Ronin is bigger than I'm aware, but I haven't heard anything about it, besides @Hardwenzen attacking it's graphics. At the end of the day, I'm not playing either. I'm just curious.

But how many is that? Did 500,000 preorder, or 500? And why the f*ck would anyone preorder a six year old game? Or at all?

PlayStation (the others as well) has never meant as little to me as it does right now. Getting rid of Jim Ryan, and dialing back on their gaas nonsense is interesting, but they have a lot of work to do before they get me back.

Here's some more good news.

My Duke would lose connection because I was a dumb dumb, and wrapped the cord around the controller. But I still have an og Xbox s controller that still works. The thumb sticks aren't as tight as I would like, but that seems to happen to all controllers.

All of my DS4 ones have been ruined by playing with them plugged in. It has killed the batteries, bent the USB port and the cable. Then the 'newer' controllers have a smaller connector on the battery, so I can't use the extra batteries I bought before.

All of my DS3 controllers are worn out, but still functioning.
