Here's a better question: Why the HELL did Shelby tell Lauren that the envelope was made by a certain typewriter. Clearly, Shelby was the only one who could decipher and conclude to such a clue. Lauren had no idea that it was the envelope's usage of a typewriter was a valuable piece of evidence. Plus, even if she did, she probably didn't know that the typewriter was SO rare that it must be taken to a shop. No, instead, Shelby, the killer, reveals this information. And then he takes her to damn shop!! It doesn't make sense.

One other thing (although this is a more lenient error) , wouldn't you expect Manfred to point out that Shelby has a Royal typewriter while he is being questioned? For example, Shelby asks all these questions like "What typewriter was used on this envelope?", "Do you know anybody who uses this Typewriter?", and "Is it an easy fix typewriter?" To all of these questions, Manfred could clearly answer "You should know Shelby, you own one and you take it to my shop all the time." Don't get me wrong. I love the game. Thought is was fantastic. But the twist seemed forced and unnecessary, with the byproduct being a bunch of "WTF?" moments.

Here's the thing: a lot of reviewers are disliking and punishing the game for its linearity. But for me, i actually WANT a linear game. This comes out of preference. It makes the game more "manageable" and the story more engaging. Plus, for me, Story >>> open world

1. The entire Shadow of the Colossus is as EPIC as it is beautiful. Hands down, one of THE GREATEST games ever read by a console laser. 2. MGS3's ending, MGS4's microwave scene...basically anything from the glorious MGS franchise.

Note: most of these games have not come out, so their greatness is conceived through past experiences and expectations. Final Fantasy XIII Heavy Rain God of War 3 The Last Guardian Red Dead Redemption (?) Bad Company (?) Agent (?), etc Winner: The impeccable TeamICO game "The Last Gaurdian"

hmm, lets compare the reviews for MW2 with Bad Company 2.

Clearly, this shows some ignorance on IGN's part. What a shame.

Bad Company 2:

8.0 Presentation
The team at DICE went for a more cinematic and epic feel with Bad Company 2 and almost nailed it.

9.0 Graphics
Those backdrops sure are gorgeous. The destructible environments add to the chaos quite nicely.

9.0 Sound
Some fantastic audio samples and above average voice acting.

9.0 Gameplay
Solid shooting mechanics and an excellent approach to multiplayer combat.

9.0 Lasting Appeal
This is the kind of multiplayer game you can go back to for months and months without getting bored.

TOTAL = 8.9/10

Modern Warfare 2

8.5 Presentation
The graphical presentation is great, but campaign's storytelling needs work. Single player is short, and doesn't entirely live up to the Call of Duty standard.

10 Graphics
What was already an impressive graphical engine has only improved over the last two years. More effects, grander environments, and a truly spectacular overall visual offering.

10 Sound
Along with graphical design, Modern Warfare 2's audio is upped substantially. Authentic weapon sounds and more in-game chatter mix with a beautiful adaptive score by Hans Zimmer.

9.0 Gameplay
There's no single AC-130 "wow" moment in single player, but it's fun throughout. Special Ops mode and multiplayer are must-play, and completely make the package.

10 Lasting Appeal
While campaign is short, Spec Ops mode is an awesome addition to the package. Multiplayer is stronger than ever, and truly limitless in replay value.

TOTAL = 9.5/10

hey Hazel, here is an IGN video that you might like to include. This video explains the battle system very, very well. Before, i saw this video, i didn't know how the system worked. It's a valuable video in my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLUNtn4f14w

definitely Killzone 2's Radec on Elite. Hard. Ass. Boss.
Emerald Weapon from FFVII. I still have yet to beat him.ProjectH1R0
Yeah, Emerald is hard as hell, but i eventually beat him. If i remember correctly, i kept on casting a summon that debilitated him. The summon had a cauldron. I don't remember what is was. Plus, all my party members were 99's. That helped too lol ;)
