whenever one is comparing two things, especially if both things are quite similar in regard (in this case, online FPS), then there will always be the inevitable, although based subjectively, clause "one is better than the other." Although this is ideally not acceptable, these comparison always conclude with superiority, no matter the even differential. And plus, i think it IS a valid comparison. And, yes, they can coexist, but that does not mean that one is equal to the other. This is getting freaking ridiculous. I'm really sick of these bull**** threads. Why can't the two FPS games just coexist?
Comparing Modern Warfare with Battlefield is like comparing Burnout with Gran Turismo.
They are two completely different games! And they both rock!

Yeah, yeah, i know, you can't really gauge BC2 fully because we have only played the demo. But, boy was that demo amazing imo. What are your opinions about these two FPS games.
Oh, and YES, i know the game is not out yet. Think of this thread as a precursor or a speculation thread; whatever makes you happy.
As a senior in college now.. my bit of advice i have for you is just leave gaming on the back burner for a while. go partying, drink beer, throw up somewhere, **** a chick, drink more beer.. cos you'll probaly won't get a chance come junior/senior yr. Have fun man! oh man...it's comments like these that make me regret gaming in the first place. Yeah, i know what you mean. I mean college is amazing. I have rule though: friday and saturday nights, i MUST not play video games (unless all plans fail). I must enjoy what i got right? But, on the other hand, video games (no matter how corny this may sound) is an integral part of my childhood. That and movies are my all-time favorite hobbies. Therefore, why should i deny myself of something that i love and makes me happy? Plus, i party, but i'm not a party animal. Man, life is a beach, isn't it? I only have 3.5 years of college left. Better hurry, times a tickin.[QUOTE="director13"]
Yeah, this really sucks, especially since its midterm time.
But yeah:
this week: Heavy Rain (just got it right now. Yay!)
next week: Battlefield Bad Company 2
next week: Final Fantasy XIII
Seriously, this sucks. I mean, money is one thing, but i've been saving up. Time, however, is not so friendly.
I'm a freshman in college: i have got to balance studying, the social college life, a multiple ending game, a 60hr RPG, and an endless awesome online game.
What about you guys?

You are missing something here. Spring break starts for us very soon. Starts on March 15th for me so it couldn't have come at a better time. Still have to go to work but still!
yeah, but im going home for break (i go to college out of state)..but perhaps ill bring my ps3 with me. I don't know, March 13th is my birthday and my break starts the 11th to the 22nd. Plenty of game time i guess ;) but i got to spend time with my family too (not a chore though lol). You don't need to buy them all at once you know, they'll still be around later during the year, especially if it's going to interfere with your school work.Flame_Blade88No. it will not interfere with my school work. In my whole life, school always came before video games. I'll be modest, but I always go for the 4.0. Always have, always will. The variety of games is nice; keeps the gaming dynamic and fresh. That's why im getting all these games now. My gaming experience will remain fresh until summer vacation.
