I recently finished Last of Us and it is an amazing game. Its one of the games where it had me thinking about the storyline and ending for a few days and actually having interesting disscussions with gaming friends. So what games have you played in your life that has had a memorable storyline or one that stuck with you for a while? My list is the following, in no particular order.
The Metal Gear Solid Franchise
Bioshock 1
Bioshock Infinte
Last of Us
Mass Effect series
Batman Arkahm City (mostly the ending)
Heavy Rain
Those games were amazing experiences for me, and the best games I have ever played with an engaging story and characters. Those games are some of my favoriate games this gen and of all time. So what are some games that had the most memorable stoylines for you and why?
Also, I did have the ps4 pre ordered but switched Xbox One a few mins ago because I found out my gaming family and friends are mostly getting Xbox One, and my girlfriend really likes Kinect and the dance games on it. So I am prepared to get bashed around here for buying a Xbox One...... I might get a ps4 down the line, If I have the money or time really. Owning two consoles can be pretty pricey as I found out this gen by owning both a ps3 and 360.
The X1 has nothing going for it. No price advantage, no power advantage, no superior multiplat advantage. The X1 seems to be an exclusives only console like the Wii U (not as bad tho bcuz x1 at least has 3rd party support), only thing tho is that M$ has yet to prove themselves in that dept.

How about something other than First Person and Third Person Shooters. That seems like that ALL MS puts out these days.... At least Sony's exclusives have more variety.
I agree.. if you look back on the 360 exclusive games this gen you will be disapointed. Its pretty much a FACT that Sony has the better exclusives and they are STILL releasing them for the ps3 while MS last big exclusive for the 360 was the medicore Gears of War Judgement. I mean seriously, that game is what the 360 is going out with? At least the ps3 has Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls to go out on.
People need to stop posting the pre order list for Amazon. There are other places all over the world taking pre orders from consoles in the US Best Buy, Wal Mart, Target, Game Stop all have pre orders for Xbox One and PS4. I currently have a ps4 pre orderd but I might switch to Xbox One because I know my gaming friends and family will most likely be on Xbox still.
Right now the XB1 has the better exclusives and it isn't even close. I also love how in the same thread you took that from there is an interview with Phil Spencer talking about more XB1 exclusives are gonna get announced this year.
If the Xbox One exclusives are more of the same that we have been getting with the 360 then there really isn't a reason to celebrate. Its pretty clear the ps3 has better exclusives than the 360 example see Last of US.
Honestly, I just want the next gen console that will have the largest community, I was a ps3/360 owner this gen but due to my busy life and funds I would rather spend elsewhere, I am just planning on owning only one next gen console. I just pre ordered a ps4 from Best Buy online last night, but after sleeping on it I am worried I shoud switch back to Xbox One just because of the community. The ps3 had a decent sized community this gen but clearly Xbox Live was larger, but the ps4 has some great online features now too. Need any advice..... Which console do you think will have the largest community? The ps4 does have that 100 price difference so that could be a factor in community numbers as well....
