I'll just say this. The Democrats could put a living breathing monkey on stage against McCain, and as long as he is 36 and a US citizen he would win.
The Republican party is so disenfranchised to what the American people want....and ultimately need. Now I am not saying that the Dems will do any better....
[QUOTE="Jaks_Secret"][QUOTE="Lil_Dwayne"]And somewhere in this thread I read somebody stating that Jesus might be homosexual????? WHat!!! How did you come to that conclusion?LJS9502_basic
Well, Jesus might not have had a wife. And so, that leaves the discussion open for him hiding his wife, him having an affair, lots of possibilities. I'm not saying he was, but still. And I know, it's like saying that oranges could have been yellow, but still.
Or being as he was part God.....no interest in sex.;)
Embodied as a man, to live among us, and feel our pain, no one ever said that Jesus was uncapable of sin.

Yeah, but maybe Heaven isn't that great of a place. Maybe, God just created Lucifer, realized he was powerful, made him his archenemy (next week in Godman!), and then started luring people to Heaven with stories.
I can't tell if you are being sarcastic. But seriously think about it, you can have a hell of a time on earth, and then a better time in hell. Or you can truly follow god's path, enter into heaven, and be his servant(slave), I don't think you get paid.
I like how hell has to be eternal damnation.

Marriage in the eyes of the law is nothing but a legal contract between two consenting adults allowing them to reap benifits set forth by the government including but not limited to tax benifits, Power of Attorney, right to death benifits, etc.
You can not get married in a church without the state knowing, it is the state, not the church, that makes a marriage.
It's Obama vs McCain in the elections.
But then McCain wins the cake (I hope).
There are just far too many people concerned with National Security and Iraq, this coming from New Yorker. Plus, McCain's military background helps in that arena. Obama clearly has no experience at all. Personally, as a voter, I woudn't want an unqualified President to handle America's NS. Look what happened with the Clinton Administration.
They had Osama by the balls, yet slick Willy called off an attack on a tanker (according to a FRONTLINE episode and other news reports).

One could argue that our National Security is directly tied into us leaving Iraq, not staying.
By leaving Iraq, we free up mass amounts of resources to exterminate the Al Queda organiztion, put more money into alternative Energy securing our Energy(a serious National Security Issue), put more money and man power into protecting the borders.
We would also reduce political disgust in America and regaining the support of the rest of the world.
