OK so I am running the client right now. I am assuming there are no issues with keeping the PS3 on to run the client(ie. no overheating etc).
Also I joined the Gamespot folding team but I don't see my name on the stats page, I am guessing that it just take a little while for the page to recycle itself and find me in the DB?
Also if I install it on my other PC's can I combine all my computing into one online persona?
So I just Dl'd the Home trailer from PSN and I am so glad that I am a PS3 owner for that fearture alone. The ability to meet up and interact with my friends(note: I don't live near many of my high school friends) and then go play games together is going to be amazing.
I def can see people getting attached to this feature.
[QUOTE="bipedal_gorilla"]It seems to me that a lot of the people planning on playing Halo 3 on the xbox 360 have already purchased a 360, myself included. Gears of War and Halo are basically the only reasons I even have the 360.Pripyat
There's scores of people still playing Halo 2 on XBOX that's going to make the jump.
Just be aware that if you use this argument you are essntially saying that the PS3 will sell millions of consoles once SOCOM, MGS4, and FFXIII come out.
PS3 - 100+ million
Wii - 100 + million
360 80 + million
Nice, its being ported by a separate team, that's why Kojima couldn't say that it was coming to the 360. 360 scores another game.

It's not coming to the XBOX360. There is no way that Kojima would give up his code to let another "team" develop it for the 360. Kojima would have to be involved in both productions, why, because it is his game, he is in the lead on this. Give it up already. IT IS NOT COMING TO 360
The difference between the PSP and overclocking is that the PSP has always been a 333mhz processor, it has been designed to run at that speed. The PS3 hardware has not been designed to run at overclocked speeds, and therefore any overclocking could cause problems. And while overclocking technically doesn't alienate anyone because the developers wouldn't develop for the overclocked models, it defeats the purpose of Sony themselves overclocking the models. Why bother with the possible heating and other overclocknig related issues when there would be no real benefit.PBSnipes
Once again I would like to point out that most processors are underclocked. Also, many processors are not meant to be overclocked but they are. Now I agree that it is pointless for Sony to OC the models, but some homebrewers might want to give it a whirl. It would be nice to see what we can really get out of one these processors, just to know.
