Autism is not a mental illness, but to answer your question - yes. A mental illness is by definition irrational (that is, destructive) thinking that results in harm to the self and others. The only alternative to the irrational is the rational, and so the only way to overcome any mental illness is the achievement of a rational thought process. Rational thinking is, by definition, the solution to any mental illness. That is not the definition of mental disease and the more severe mental illnesses do not arise from irrational thinking. Schizophrenia or bipolar disease does not arise from irrational thinking.These are diseases and deserve to be respected as such. Gotta echo the Fear 1 + Fear 2 = fantastic! Fear 3 was an absolute disgrace of a game! Horrible! Still vomit occasionally due to how bad that game was compared to its predecessors!
