The issue of gender equality and sexuality is taken far too seriously in our society. If a game that took the complete opposite stance was made, that discussed the empowerment of women and made men look terrible, I would have no problems. The game would probably be boring as hell because Sex and the City: The Game, would have no guns or hot young girls, but I wouldn't care if they made it.
gamespot and IGN both heavily criticize games after giving them positive reviews. DA2 got an 8 but they criticize it all the time. Likewise, IGN gave Black Ops and 8.5 and just wrote an article saying how its ruining first person shooters. maybe if the reviews of these games were worse to begin with, developers would take a hint.
Not enough talking to companions, there was way more in ME1, DA:O and even ME2. I felt no connection to any of them. In addition, the environments' level of repetition made the game feel so rushed and unfinished. They even knew, too, and tried to be clever by having you enter and exit through different doors. You'd think it was a new environment until you realized it's the same room you saved your mom in, the same room you killed those blood mages in, etc. Good ideas with bad execution overall.
Can't tell a difference between high and very high. The difference also isn't as big as I would have thought, especially given the performance difference between low DX9 and High DX 11.
