@Barighm: The disease isn't about yearning for something closer to the old classics, it's about the failure to accept that any other opinion of Final Fantasy is as valid as their own.

@Crossel777: People who don't have Final Fantasy disease tend to be far less vocal than the ones who do. Because of that, I don't think you're going to see nearly as many comments from people who are okay with the new direction as you will from people who are angry about it.

Edit: Also, the "disease" is not about people having a different opinion, it's about people who refuse to accept any opinion as valid if it isn't the same as their own.
