I guess it can be a little bit distracting when someone right next to you is texting, but I've never found it to be a big deal. BTW, what is happening in your profile pic lol?

@kallenx: Do you think your large sweeping statement is true of everyone born around a certain date? If a group of older people are jerks, do you generalize that all people of that age group are jerks as well? If so, I'd say you have a problem my friend.

Edit: BTW, I suppose every generation will have some old men yelling at kids to get off their lawn... Metaphorically speaking :P

@Daveof89: I haven't had many problems with other people in the theater and general skip the food and drink. I've almost always enjoyed the experience when I go, which is once or twice a year at most, but I'm on the same page as you because of the endless sources of entertainment at home on a comfortable couch. Seeing a movie in the theater can be a social event and it's a nice change of pace occasionally for me.

@AJC3317: So you don't want other people to continue enjoying theaters?
