All first person shooters in this list. Nothing wrong with that, but it struck me as interesting.

@silentmobius: I might as well just leave ad block on then.

@torbonator: I was lucky enough to have mine go through, but it's no skin off my back if they make more so that others can get it. It seems a person would be pretty self-centered to be hurt by the fact that other people can have the same thing they have.

@grayyfoxx: I was hesitant to hit refresh as well because it kept hanging. After opening a 2nd tab that also started hanging, I started trying to refresh at the checkout every few minutes until it finally went through (after about 10-15 minutes.) I had a similar issue buying the FFXIV Heavensward Collectors edition. Seems to me like Square Enix doesn't have enough bandwidth on their store servers to handle that amount of traffic.

@dexda: Since they are already selling the Rift at a loss, I wouldn't expect them to take an even bigger loss by paying for shipping. From a business perspective, I don't think there would be any long term or short term payoff to the company. Companies aren't in the business to do people favors, they're in it to make money.

@Rushaoz: FFXIII ran like that at first for me on my i7 4790K / GTX 970 desktop (very comparable to your laptop.) I lowered the Shadow Resolution and Anti-aliasing in the FFXIII Launcher to get a steady 60 fps. The graphical difference isn't too noticeable but the silky smooth frame rate is :)

Test it out in an area of the game that drops frames frequently to decide how low you want to go on each setting. You might have to locate the FFXIII Launcher application, which is easier to find if you go into Steam, right click Final Fantasy XIII from the list of games, click properties, Local Files tab, and then click Browse Local Files... Keep in mind that certain cut scenes in the game are locked to 30 fps. Hope that helps.

@Prats1993: That is my one gripe about this game as well. I wish Square would just remove enough of the graphical bells and whistles to prevent the slide shows.

@Rushaoz: I'd even be happy to play it with slightly "dumbed down" graphics and a better framerate on the PS4. I'm totally with you though, this game would be prime on PC.

Final Fantasy XIII was a major disappointment for me on console, but surprisingly, I've actually been enjoying it on PC at 60 fps. Frame rates under 30 fps just seem to irritate me. I'll be playing FFXV on PS4 when it comes out, but I'm really hoping I can adjust to the slide show because it does not look like Square is going to reach their goal of a consistent 30 fps.

@aiden_kasel: Sadly, both demos of the game struggle to reach even 30 fps. The frequent slideshow like sections really bother me but otherwise they're enjoyable. Here's hoping it comes out for PC soon.
