If i get all those than what is Micrsoft visual basic 08 express good for? I mean what do i make on that, it has to do something. I am taking video tutorials on it should i keep doing that? Just please explain what this does. Also if i get all those in the link can i use them all for one game? how do you that? So, yea please answer that -

1. Can i use all the tools on one game i am developing?
2. How do you do it? Just by saving and opening?

3. What does microsoft visual basics do?

1. Yes, although you might not need to.

2. Yes.

3. You need a Visual Studio product to access the XNA libraries. I believe you need C# and not VB.

4. My apologies for misleading you about the Creator's Club membership yesterday. It appears you do need to subscribe in order to get Torque X for free.

A quick word of advice...I wouldn't pay for anything unless you have to. What I mean is, if you're not ready to test anything, don't buy the membership, unless of course you need it to do actual development. I'm pretty sure most of the dev tools are free (C#.NET, XNA Studio, etc.), so if you only need the membership to post/test your games on Live, unless you have something to test, why start paying for the membership? Just a thought.

It's clearly not that good. Gamespot only gave it a 7.0. ;)

I understand how you might get confused, though. Sometimes I think I'm blown away by Lost Odyssey. Then I remember it's just a humble 7.5er.

I think you expect to much from games.

Just play it and have fun. I don't worry about what some paid reviewer says. He didn't buy the game, so he has nothing to lose. Just waits for them to drop the next game on his desk to review. For the rest of us gamers, we put our hard earned money into this stuff. So yeah, if I didn't think this game was great, I would be on here telling everyone about it.

It's called sarcasm. You can look it up on Wikipedia. ;)

I thought Sony owned BluRay. I could be very wrong though. Thats why Im asking.Blackwater001

They created/own the rights to the technology, just like somebody did with DVD. All it means really, is that companies like Toshiba will make blu-ray players and Sony will get a kick back, instead of Sony making HDDVD players and Toshiba getting some of the cash. I think Microsoft may make a blu-ray drive, however, I really think they are on to something with Live and DLC. I think you will see, down the road, either a larger HDD, or even a large portable drive. Everything is moving in that direction...I think XBox Originals are only the beginning.

Multiplayer is fun, but it's hard to go back after playing CoD4. The campaign was decent at best, but the plot and characters made it feel like a big, brainless summer action movie.aerman176

You nailed it. It's kinda like Armageddon, only with better acting.

Im looking forward to it, I can't wait until gaming becomes an olympic sport...I mean look at Paintball no one ever thought it would become an Olympic sport but now it is, you think the same could happen for video gaming?Arbiter98

I highly doubt that. I can't see somebody injecting hgh before a Halo 3 match. Paintball actually requires some athletic ability.

I take it nobody here is married...well, I am and my wife hates gaming, but loves reality TV, so when our basement is finished, this will be a regular occurrence. I'd much rather play COD4 than watch Rock of Love or The Real World...

Nice. I was looking to pick up Ninja Gaiden Black but it will be a better buy to get it from Xbox Live. With original Xbox games can you redownload them after you've purchased if you remove them from the hard drive?NeoStar9

Yes.

Timeshift was okay, mostly because the time-shifting functionality was pretty cool. It was a good filler-game to pass the time prior to COD4 release. I'd say rent them both first, as Timeshift was definitely a rental, and I'm thinking Turok may be too.
