Dragon Age II versus Dragon Age Origins

I've just bought DAII and for the moment, I feel like the money I've spent are money well spent. I simply loved DAI, it took me 60 god damn hours to finish it, I used to play that game hours and hours without stopping, only because it was so damn good. And it was full of epic moments, so epic they gave me goosebumps, especially the last battle, so damn epic.

Oh, and about DAII, I've played something like 10 hours or so, I think, and even though it isn't what Dragon Age Origins was, it's still damn fun. I did some of the main quests, I'm not that type of guy who really wants to keep his journal full of quest, I'd rather prefer to do them slowly, two at a time, or one by one, I really don't want my quest log to have tons of quests, because it's so hard to decide what to start with. The thing I hate the most, is that I can't quite feel any emotional attachement with the characters. No Alistair, no Morrigan, yet some of the characters from the first game are still kept, the best example is Flemeth, Morrigan's mother. Now you've got Hawke "The Champion" a really nice character, Bethany who's insanely hot but still no Morrigan, Ariane, some kind of female tough warrior, a much hardcore version of Leilana from the first game. There are really many characters but they can't quite match the old ones. If I'd have to rate DAII from a scale to 1 to 10 I'd probably give it a healthy 8.5, because it's fun, but I'd give DAO 9.4, not 9,5 because I wanted it to last longer.

By the way: I got rid of that "sucking the c***" thing by performing a quick cooke cleaning with ccleaner. Lucky me!

God dammit!

Yes, I am that pissed. So as far as the story goes let me put it nice and simple: My PC screwed up (I used "screwed" only to not use the F word). I think it's because of a goddamn trainer for Plants vs Zombies, which I finished right before this event, Argghh! Reinstalling Windows was the only way out, considering my PC was looping with restarts, I couldn't even save data such as save games, now all the progress from Two Worlds II is gone, fuuuuuuu. And I played that game a lot, I was level 25 and I AM NOT gonna do this again, it's way beyond my powers. Also progress has been lost for MW2, I was second prestige level 48 now I HAVE TO DO IT ALL AGAIN. And you know, everything is gone, it feels so awkard... damn...

I am out of games.

Seriously, I've got nothing left to play. Each time I turn the pc I dreadfully think what am I gonna do, and usually I end up being bored to death. I think I've played every mainstream title from years 2007-present, what am I supposed to play then. The only game I've got left and actually play is MW2 because online games are fun, oh and Two Worlds 2 because I love that game but besides this I've got nothing. Suggestions please?

What can I remember:
-I've played the whole CoD series

-I've played all the PoP series

-I did play Borderlands

-I did play Just Cause 2

-I did play Risen

-I did play Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

etc etc, so many..

Back to school again.

Oh well, I went back to school a week ago, but I wanted to write this now to give you a quick update of how things has been going on.

DAY 1.

Can't believe it, test paper at maths from the very first day. Strangely, the teacher never mentioned about them all week

DAY 2.

A bit more relaxed. Now that the first day is gone everything is going to feel natural again ( yet it takes more than a week to get used after the summer vacation ).

DAY 3.

Pretty good, but I had to go to meditation to maths, 2h and a half, it's important to do these if I want to stand a chance in front of the exam in summer. I'm starting to embrace this thought, as by now I was very upset about doing this.

DAY 4.

Great. No test papers, no marks, everything went fine, plus that, the easiest classes are on this day.

DAY 5.

Since it's the last day of the week it went really smooth and when I got back home I spent a good part of my time playing. Because that's what I do at every end of the week.\

Also, you won't beleive it but... we are closer to summer vacation than you might think. So, it's almost the end of february, march, april and may are gorgeus months because it's spring and the weather is great. So basically there are 3 months left. Yup, 3 months, I can still remember when it was the 16th of september, when the scholar year started. Can't believe how time passes. Also, there are so many games coming in May, my favourite being The Witcher 2 because I simply loved the first one. Also, Duke Nukem Forever ( let's hope this time it will ACTUALLY BE RELEASED). As of february, I really wanna have Bulletstorm, it looks damn sweet.

Cheers. ;)

Vacation time again XD !

Well, I don't know if it's like this for everybody but this thursday I'm taking a 1 week long vacation. And it's not because of an important holiday such as Christmas it's because, well, it's related to the educational system here. Lemme explain, so the school year is divided in two: 1. The first semester which lasts from 15th of september ( when I begin school ) - 28th of january. 2. The second one lasts from 4/5th of february to 10th of june so the second semester is a bit longer with the Easter vacation (still 1 week) starting from the late days of april ( idk for sure ). I'm happy ! XD

Google Chrome... gone forever

It has happened when google chrome crashed yesterday morning. Ever since then I did damn lot of research, applied many registry fixex, tricks and stuff, none of them worked, and it seems I am not the only one who has this problem... now the only solution is to go back to Mozilla, hope Firefox 4.0 is gonna be better, not that I hate Mozilla or I am a google chrome fanboy or something but I just thought Google Chrome was faster. Anyway, R.I.P. Google Chrome, I'll miss you ...

School time's up again *GASP* ****

Oh boy, here we go again, I hate when after vacation I have to endure the terryfying FIRST day of school, because we all know it just plain sucks. Once you get accomodated it isn't that bad, eh, whatever.

The worst part, is that I have to go to maths meditation and it takes 2 h 30 m and I have to go every wednesday. It's f***** boring, I can't endure anymore, and just thinking that other kids have fun depresses me ( so to speak). Don't know about you, but I start school tomorrow, I'm curious when you start it :D

Cheers mateys. *Pirate blink*

Google Chrome 10.0.612.3

It may be just the beta version, but it's twice as fast as google chrome 9 beta, and threefold faster than google chrome 8 (stable release). It's blazingly fast, that's all I got to say.

Here and there, then and now

No, it's not a movie, it's just a blog about how my life has been going on. Well, I can pretty much say this was a regular Christmas, I didn't get any substantial presents whatsoever but I will get an HD5770 next year, most probably, I really need to save up some money, dad likes it when I work for money myself, too bad I'm still underage (14 years) and I can't sign up for a job, because that would be cool, with one income I could buy the video card right away. I didn't get any video games this week, but I'll stick with my current ones, namely:

-Fallout: New Vegas

-COD: Black Ops

-COD: MW2 (Multiplayer-Only)

-Shank ( I freaking love this game)

-Nail'd (High thrills for sure)

-Need for Speed Hot Pursuit ( the new one, pretty decent)

-Sam and Max Season One ( I love it!)

-Two Worlds II (most addictive RPG I've had in a looong while, check out my personal review for more details)

And tons of NES and SNES games on emulator, playing Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden games like a freak, there's not a single day I do not play these games, and many NES and SNES classics such as ActRaiser or Battletoads, Double Dragon etc.

Couldn't say it was a bad Christmas, not at all, presents that weren't given to me right now on Christmas may come later, because you know you can't have them all.

So what are you up to guys, what games are you playing, how's your life overall, and most importantly how has your Christmas been going.
Cheers.
