I've just bought DAII and for the moment, I feel like the money I've spent are money well spent. I simply loved DAI, it took me 60 god damn hours to finish it, I used to play that game hours and hours without stopping, only because it was so damn good. And it was full of epic moments, so epic they gave me goosebumps, especially the last battle, so damn epic.
Oh, and about DAII, I've played something like 10 hours or so, I think, and even though it isn't what Dragon Age Origins was, it's still damn fun. I did some of the main quests, I'm not that type of guy who really wants to keep his journal full of quest, I'd rather prefer to do them slowly, two at a time, or one by one, I really don't want my quest log to have tons of quests, because it's so hard to decide what to start with. The thing I hate the most, is that I can't quite feel any emotional attachement with the characters. No Alistair, no Morrigan, yet some of the characters from the first game are still kept, the best example is Flemeth, Morrigan's mother. Now you've got Hawke "The Champion" a really nice character, Bethany who's insanely hot but still no Morrigan, Ariane, some kind of female tough warrior, a much hardcore version of Leilana from the first game. There are really many characters but they can't quite match the old ones. If I'd have to rate DAII from a scale to 1 to 10 I'd probably give it a healthy 8.5, because it's fun, but I'd give DAO 9.4, not 9,5 because I wanted it to last longer.
By the way: I got rid of that "sucking the c***" thing by performing a quick cooke cleaning with ccleaner. Lucky me!
