Its hard enough trying to persuade people that computer games are primarily for adults. Also the more girls the better. I don't care about being beaten by a girl, how sad can you get really. I don't think I have ever been in an online game of some kind and thought "oh thats a girl I should go after her she will be easy to kill", etc. Sexism is for people of a lower intelligence.
After playing on Call of Duty I would not say that he saved first person shooters at all. Though I suppose I should not let one bad game series spoil the bunch.
Third comment -_- they did not explain the civil unrest mod properly.. they make it out to be a mod where it adds constant battles all over the place, when really it adds a number of specific battlegrounds on the map of Empire vs Bandits, or Empire vs Stormcloak, etc.
I just hope we have a good character or characters to play as this time around. I don't wanna play as someone I dislike. I didn't like CJ in San Andreas that much.
@Equilibriate I did have a look at them and was not to happy about VM afterwards, its like you dont get what you pay for to be honest. Anyway yeah, I get you, but I would prefer to be able to play like I do with any other game.. whenever I want for as long as I want. In my opinion you would have to get a better internet package to enjoy onlive as more of a permanent replacement for consoles and PC gaming. Also I agree that over time higher speeds will be cheaper and the top speeds will increase to higher amounts (currently 50 in UK). I have played onlive (US) with 3MB/s and it ran fine, except for ping which caused slight lag (not framerate... lag) Although after about 30 mins of playing, the cap hit hard, and the resolution of my game went down so much I couldn't make anything out and then the game closed down telling me I didn't have enough speed or something.
Please note everyone that if your ISP reduces your download speed because of their fair usage policy then you should not use onlive for the reason that after around 1 or 2 hours of playing maybe less the limit will kick in meaning the game will begin to run horribly and you will probably not even be able to play. You need to make sure you check out your fair usage policy to see if you can still have the minimum specs (3mb) even after your speed has been limited... so your probably gonna have to use one of the more expensive packages to use Onlive, for example Virgin Media's 50MB package. (which has not fair use limit, but it costs a lot). Though I think if you had a 20MB package you will be fine. as when your limit kicks in you should still have enough speed to handle the games.
Does anyone realise that Todd Howard said that the PC version will have better textures ? Or are you PC gamers all just really noobs who don't bother to do research before talking about a game ?
