It' amazing the rate the ps4 is selling especially with slow progressing from ps3 to this gen. I guess marketing delivered at the right time and the xone shot itself in the foot pre-launch. Big companies spend big money on quality advertisement for a reason.

I don't have a next gen console but I bought bloodborne. I'm good at this time though, no need to buy new systems yet. There are more than a lot of games in my collection or new ones to add for old systems.
Shutdown after a year? What's the added benefit of paying for psn ignoring having a forced charge to play online at all?
Sadly sooner or later this is the future of all online games. Or better, online "console" games. At least on the PC you can run your own servers for many old games. Console gamers that only play online games on consoles are not thinking of the long term investment this doesn't provide.
Both the PS4 and XBone will probably have a ton of reveals at E3. They are both having great momentum since launch and I'm guessing Microsoft and Sony will want to keep it that way. As far as Nintendo goes, even if they don't have much to show for WiiU, Zelda will steal the show.
To me they are equally good and complementary. Skyrim for example was very different from Oblivion. Maybe not too different, but you can draw more distinctions from those two games. I liked the story/characters, and atmosphere better in Fallout 3, and I enjoyed the game play tweaks and writing of New Vegas Better. But overall these Fallout games are similar enough for someone to enjoy both.
There are a lot of interesting looking PC space sims in development that are looking spectacular. This just got added to the list. I got my plastic pigs ready to safe for a massive PC upgrade (soon, I want to see the new GPUs coming in the future first).
@OhSnapitz: Tell that to Gamespot staff. They just make these garbage bite sized shows talking nonsense and getting material inspirations from silly discussions on the forums.
@HalcyonScarlet: You are right. PC has no generations and gen 8 didn't start strong for consoles. Why do herms in sw wany to twist this as a console problem when the article shows and states games that are multiplat pc included. These days pc fanboys will use any ammo to talk smack about consoles. Danny also forgot to include in his article how exponentially more difficult it is for devs to make games as they push the graphics, animation, gameplay, and overall production values. Also devs are pushed to release games in a tight schedule and neglet many bug they now rather fix after release ( and we all hate this). These things apply to both PC and console games but according to herms, consolez brah.
I haven't bought a gen 8 console yet because none of them are worth it for me at this time. It's silly to expect the the drought of games games to continue, especially now that ps4 and xone are selling a good pace. Compared to last gen. A lot of the disapointing games the consoles are getting are multiplats the pc gets too. Once more exclusives come out and third party get their act together we'll be laughing at this thread and gamespot flaming articles.
