For its time the PS2 was the best. Sony started building their first party and they had so many third party exclusives that if you were a gamer the system was a must have. Add to the fact it had full backwards compatibility with the PS1 and we really didn't know how good we had it.

The PS5 will get shit on but it is a great console. The problem is it's just kinda redundant and if you own a gaming PC you don't really need one. You may even pick an XSX if you like GP and have no interest in Japanese games. Sony's first party has fallen so bad that it's no longer a selling point for the platform.

The attention to detail in TLOU is insane. You shoot someone's knee out and the way they fall to the ground and start limping... or the damage on the characters and the blood pooling system. Nothing comes close other then RDR2.

I'm not sure what your talking about with bad AI. It was probably a glitch but both TLOU and TLOU2 allows incredibly dynamic scenarios that few games can match.

It was so dam good i was actually able to play through the entire game and get through Neil Cuckmans terrible writing. The animations and attention to detail are so dam good that if you were watching gameplay it feels like you are watching pre-rendered footage.

Remnant 2 isn't even the same genre 🤣 and it doesn't do either better then TLOU... it also has no stealth mechanics.

That's because their games are among the best of the best. Look at their GOTY wins, Nominations and sells...not to mention Playstation has access to the best games available..and what they dont get ill play on my XSX and Switch. Before they went full live service they were the best publisher in the industry...although I admit it is now a shitshow.

Wukong isn't even a Souls clone in my opinion. It doesn't even have a penalty for death. Not to mention it was nominated for GotY so it's not like it was overhyped.

Because it undermines any unique features they have.

It was a great game with a shit story because Druckman is a talentless hack carried by a talented team. I don’t think 19 is considered under age though.

@last_lap: If you think TLOU has shit gameplay then you honestly just have shitty taste in games. Their is no game to date that blends melle combat , third person shooting and stealth so seamlessly.

God of War has outstanding and challenging combat so that in itself would probably be to much for you.

TLOU2 is full of " woke" shit which is why I bought the game two weeks after it released so I could get a used copy. But that doesnt change the fact that the gameplay was outstanding.

The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man and Bloodborne weren't hand holdy crap 🤣. They were just great games with high production values.

Well this is different in that it relies on a parry system and perfect dodging. This character seems to be significantly more powerful then anything you could build in a typical Souls game .

Sony hasn't released shit other then live service trash and Astrobot. I do wish they would go back to high quality first party titles with production values again. However MS wanted to copy them so bad they spent 80 billion dollars to buy studios that could actually make good games.
