Resident Evil 5 isn't racist, it's sexist: It shows that women have no idea what ammo conservation is.

Ha yeah man - just let her have the electric prod.

Yes, but once again, because of those sexist people at Capcom, all she does is stand behind me and walk in circles.

Maybe she like looking at your ass?

i use yellowdog on my ps3 the main problem I run into is geting vlc to run in full screen mode it sometimes takes a few tries to get it to run right. I haven't tried xubuntu but I run ubuntu on my pcs. I chose yellowdog because many people recomended it. You must also remember that it runs like a low end pc if all you want to do is watch movies and manage music then it's ok the install takes up almost 5gb of the 10 you can allocate so if you have a large music library you won't be able to put all of your music on to the hd.

Is it easy enough to move movies and music back and forth via removable storage though? Im putting linux on as we speak if just burned my disk!

I won't bother taking your keys away from you when you're drinking but rather your credit card. less damage will be done this way I assume.wreconize89

God take them both - or next time i may just end up getting boned by online crooks and then car jacked!

I am a total dumbass i know - but thanks to everyone who said they were 'feeling the plight' soto speakits good to know that there are some genuine cool people on the internet. Im gunna research this whole scam a bit further and im gunna put together something to expose the kinds of sites that take idiots (like me) and steal their money!

I will also look into that 60 day money back thing - although im not hoping too much. May as well check it out ay.

On the Plus side i am in the process of installing linux on my PS3 thanks to some advice from people right here on the gamespot forums. See - so some good things do come cheap! If anyone wants the link to the Linux stuff let me know ill put it up.

At least my penis still works.

for now.

Ok - i dont want to write this because it exposes me as a dumbass....but in case there are any other slightly naive people here i thought it best to put this about... I was getting bored with the content at PSN so i decided to use my PC to search for any other methods of getting legal downloads for the ps3... I tapped into google - legal ps3 downloads.... The search engine came up with a number of results one of which was Unlimitedps3downloads.com...... I did a bit af research - they have cleverly set up a number of their own pages here and there titled ''PS3 downloads a scam?'' where they had reviews of the site and videos that said the site was cool etc....these sites did not appear to be linked to Unmlimitedps3dowloads. So....id had a few beers....i had my credit card in my pocket and i though hey this looks pretty good - the sign in fee in about $50 dollars and that gives you umlimited access to the site - a one off payment....they then provide you the games etc on thier database and the means to convert their iso's into a usable disc for the ps3. YES I KNOW THAT IT SOUNDS RIDICULOUS!! It sound even worse in the morning let me tell you! Basically once you paid ya money.....your screwed! They do provide you with software to burn iso's......and a Bitorrent search engine - yes guys im afraid thats what it turned out to be. Its just P2P - which when in reference to ps3 games is not only illegal but i dont think that you could burn games anyway. Its a total waste of your money and illegal. Just great. Im cancelling my credit card just in case its even worse that this just to be safe. Anyway - cue a lot of smart assess saying hilarious and insightful - to be honest i dont give a rats ass - just as long as other people who may have been sucked in read this and steer clear of this scam

ya i've done it. it's fairly simple. ubuntu 8.10 is the best. go to psubuntu.com, you should find everthing you need. and it's completely safe b/c sony made it impossible for linux to mess up your ps3. if there's any problem, just hold the power button untill it beeps twice. this will take you to the regular "Game OS". This is what you need to download:

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/8.10/release/ubuntu-8.10-alternate-powerpc+ps3.iso

this is a disc image, and you'll need to burn it. i'm not sure how experienced u are, but everthing you need to know is on that website.

Thanks man ill check that out ive been reading up about a bit - im confident itll work out pretty sweet - does your system run any emulation successfully?
