yeah but with all the wires and extra controllers lying around........add to that the fact that im too laaaaazy to screw around with changing over consoles - playstation 2 slim is not getting into my living room - its messy enough as it is!
I know that they are still marketing the console - but does anyone wonder if there will be downloadable versions of games from PS2 for the PS3 in the not too distant future? The PS1 'classics' are a bit bone (where is the resident evil series?!) and id like to see maybe the Onimusha series or RE4 available to play on my machine. From a marketing point of view - surely there is an opportunity to capitalise on RE5's current success to get increased interest in owning the whole series - i know id pay to download 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica and RE4 just to have those babies saved on my PS3. As far as just owning multiple consoles - to be honest there is only so much space underneath my TV if you know what i mean! Obviously there is good new software titles popping up and that is the whole point of owning a next gen console.......but it would be good to have some real classics to download while waiting for the next cool titles to pop up.
i went to the states last year for 2 months and got chemically addicted to cheetos. I cant get them now. mmmm........cheetos I got a PS3 for free with a mobile phone contract which turned out to be 15 pounds cheaper than what i was paying anyway. As i walked away from the shop with my new toy i couldnt help but feel like id just robbed someone.
This game is shaping up to be god awful. I'm almost pleased now that I rolled my fully paid off pre-order to inFAMOUS. I liked RE4, but if what everyone is saying about this game is true, it's definitely not worth full price. Horrid controls, lackluster story, zero replay value -- hmph. What has the RE series gone to? Ahhh, the mass market. I see. It doesn't take intellect to run around, totting a gun.

Right then - for me - RE5 IS AN AWESOME GAME!! It looks good - sounds good - plays well - the bosses are fun fun fun and the character animation is amazing.......the only problem is that it is just so far away from what the RE series started out as. But if you read reviews of Nemesis and Code Veronica, you'll see that they get a bit of flack for sticking to the old formula. As far as zero replay value goes i would say that its a keeper just like RE4. Hello - Mercenaries? How many hours have i spent with my friends shooting of zombie faces off with my pimped up shotgun? Resident evil has evolved into something else. Never forget the original mansion or Racoon city police department but the new look resi stands up for me.
