The important thing for some people to remember is that reviews are done by regular gamers with their own fallible opinions. Just because you don't like a games doesn't mean it is bad, or great if you do like it.

The way to look at reviews is to find out what bugged the reviewer about the game and if it is something that would bug you then its obviously not for you. For example, every assasins creed review said its mission structure was repetitive but i could look past that cause i absolutly love the free running, that alone nearly made it my game of the year.

Sorry for the mini rant but i don't like all reviewers tarred with the same corporate shill brush

All the time. My direct superiors are both on holiday at the minute, which sounds great but it means this awful woman from down the hall can come in and bully me into doing her work for her, and what i do is never good enough for her even when i do it exactly like she said.

Luckily there are nicer managers around who are sticking up for me now but its very easy to fell like everything i do here is pointless

There is one key point holing this debate back; a definition of evolution. So here it is -

Evolution is a change in the gene pool of a population over time (A gene is a hereditary unit that can be passed on unaltered for many generations. The gene pool is the set of all genes in a species or population)

Now we all know what evolution is, we can say whether or not it is scientific fact or theory.

It is both. Scientists have observed evolution occuring in fruit flies, therefore it is a fact. A way of explaining these facts is needed thus we get the theory of evolution which can make predictions that can be tested and verified.

So, this is the third time i've had to post this, i hope it won't be ignored by all the people on both sides of the argument who so far have shown a lack of understanding of evolution

Plus we have a series of skelletons that show the gradual progression from ape to human.

Indeed, my example was but one of many observation of evolution

[QUOTE="braindead_hero"]I personally wouldn't call it good sense, more a massive infringement on civil liberties. It doesn't make us any safer it just makes it easier fot the government to hand out ASBOs which don't really do anything, besides rewarding yob culture with a badge of honor.mattyftm
I think anyone who disslikes security camera's must have something to hide.

I certainly have nothing to hide from CCTV cameras but i still dont like them. I want to walk around with out feeling like someone is watching me, waiting for me to do something wrong so they can pounce on me. They don't make me feel any safer either, they don't seem to be much of a deterrent to people who are determined to commit crimes

against killing but for killing at the same time... curious.

comp_atkins

There is a difference between killing a full grown human and an unborn fetus in that the fetus is not yet a conscious being. I'm not saying that I'm pro-abortion but i am pro-choice i.e. its up to the individual.

I realise you weren't talking to me but i just had to give my two pence worth
