you should check out the crash tests. it really is a mini tank. the ps2 came in last place.

been through 3 360's, not one of them scratched my discs, i have only ever had 1 360 game get damagd and that was when my youngest boy got hold of it, still worked though, take the disc out and put it straight in the box when you turn your console off, don't leave it in the machine, don't leave it stacked on top of other dvd's outside of it's box and you should be fine, and you see the big thick ring scratch around the middle, that can only be done if the console is moved whilst the console is on, anyone who say's they didn't move there console is not being entirely honestdelta3074

Are you kidding me? My PS1, not the Slim version, runs till this very day. And I did a lot of disc swapping. My PS2 slim, not a problem.

Some games on 360 are scratched by the disc tray and others by the gamers. This is one reason why Bluray is superior, it's unscratchable.
