fyi, you dont need a $1000 video card to view a damn 1920x1080 PICTURE. a damn picture. there isnt even a video card that costs $1000. im not even talking about gaming resolutions or textures. its already obvious a PC version of a game will have better graphics than the console version. we dont need the obvious stated.

im simply stating that a picture viewed on my PS3 doesnt look as sharp as it does viewed on my PC on the same monitor. a PICTURE, not a video or game.

do you have a PS2 sitting around? i have a feeling BC will come back. sony already filed a patent for software BC.

you would probably get back the market price of a 60gb PS3 minus the $150 CND. maybe even less. if you have a PS2 sitting around or if you barely play your old PS2 games, just get a Slim.

can anyone else open a 1920x1080 picture on a PS3 and PC and switch between inputs while comparing the picture?

if that doesnt work, just take apart your dual shock 3 and grease up the moving parts. ive taken mine apart before and its real easy to put back together. no warranty seal to be broken. just dont snap off some platic part. i remember there was a delicate plastic part.

can someone with a 1080p+ monitor please conduct this test? and no, you can have the oldest graphics card on earth and the picture quality wont differ.

can you please move the ps3 so that its in the middle? no vertical stand. youre scaring me man. id rather have an xbox fall off the table than a PS3.

i have a Slim PS3 sitting right next to me. do you know how good i feel? do you know how nice it looks up close in person?

if youre going to buy a new PS3 why wouldnt you get the Slim version? you can get the fat version from gamestop for the same price and theyll throw in an extra DS3 but thats it.

1920x1080 pictures on my PS3 are not as sharp as they are on my PC. The colors also look faded. Can anyone verify this?

The quality difference is like the quality difference between an original picture vs a picture edited in Microsoft Paint.

you better hurry up and sell it. you can probably get it sold for $200-$225. i had lots of people message me after they saw my craigslist ad. too bad i was desperate and sold my 40 gig for $200. the next day people wanted to buy it for $225. stupid, i know. just go on craigslist right now and post before the Slim is officially released.

i have the Slim and it looks sexy. you should see the new buttons and lights. youre paying small difference for a smaller, sleeker, more energy efficient, non-glossy PS3.
