you dont think companies should just give us DLC just for supporting them and their products? youre essentially saying that its fine for companies to rip customers off.

old thread but whatever. my PC can emulate the PS2. why cant the PS3 do it with its mighty Cell processor?

So who else thinks DLC is a waste of money? Paying $2.99 for a character costume. I know it costs money to develop those things but lets all be serious. At the same time I cant picture a gamer shelling out money just for a character costume, but I know there are those who do.

I just think its ridiculous and even insulting for companies to do that. They should give us DLC for free just for supporting their product and charge us when the DLC is actually worth our money. Map packs (not maps) and expansions are great but costumes and weapons such as the MGS4 gun in LBP are ridiculous. I hate how Sony and MS wont allow TF2 to get free updates even though the PC version gets free updates frequently. Oh well, what can we do.

Well obviously not everyone is going to have a bad mic. Im generalizing. But I would estimate that 80 or even 90 percent of the people I hear talking have horrible mics with no noice cancellation. They end up sounding like theyre screaming into the mic because of all the ambient noise. Its just a simple statement and I was expecting a lot more people to agree.

BTW I use my Jawbone when I do want to chat. Theres pretty much no point because I cant even understand the people on the other end. So many people are ready to jump on me its funny.

come on, be realistic people. the problem isnt on my end. and why would i be the one with the bad mic. im the one complaining. instead of trying to drop a smart comment, just admit it or say you dont have the problem.

anyway, ive tested this on a difference ps3 and on a different connection. its not on my end.

Why does everyone on the PSN have a horrible mic? You guys cant deny this. And what sucks is theyll never know that their mic sucks.

and here are my google results. some people complaining have 6mb connections. i also noticed a lot of people admitting that they play on different servers from different regions. its quite annoying when you find people with 600+ ping in PC games.

well ill be upgrading soon so ill report back, but as stubborn as this sounds, i still think its the KZ2 servers. like i said, i play many games online, TF2, CSS, a bunch of HL2 mods, COD4, KZ2 and Killzone 2 is the only game i experience lag in. and if you guys take the time to read all the threads created by other people having this problem, it will start to make sense more. or maybe were all using a $20/month service that is great for all games except for Killzone 2.

and this problem could be specific to different locations, which could explain why some arent getting lag. and keep in mind this isnt just lag. its only a death lag. weapons will fire at the right time and grenades will be thrown at the right time, just that the hits will register late and people will drop dead a 1-2 second late. ill have the benefit of a doubt.
