Agreed. But things have changed. Its the opposite now.

That survey was rigged by the gaming industry to promote the takeover of Digital Download.
I cant picture anyone this generation who would prefer a digital copy of a game that they could one day lose ownership of over a hard copy of a game that they can sell or keep forever. Rigged survey. Or done in some city in the middle of nowhere with tumbleweed rolling around and frequent sand storms.
Does Sony really make money from Home? I cant picture ANYONE who would pay for the ingame furniture and clothes. Anyone have links to actual figures?
Ive been seeing a lot of people saying that Microsoft is ripping customers off by charging them more for their proprietary hard drives. I myself actually perfer the 360s hard drive over the standard boring laptop hard drives.
1. Its easier to remove. No having to find a screw driver and taking the console apart to get to the hard drive.
2. You get better hard drive cooling than with the PS3 since the hard drive is getting cool air directly. Hard drive cooling is important people.
3. Its made by Microsoft so that means you get the quality and support Microsoft is known for. If anything happens to the drive, Microsoft will have one sent to you within weeks. No frustrating processes that other hard drive companies put you through. And please no RROD jokes. Its 2010 people.
So yeah, paying more per GB isnt that big of a deal here, especially considering the benefits that Microsofts specially designed hard drive give you. Mine cost around $120 + tax a while back. You can probably find them now for a few bucks cheaper.
The PS Move will probably be Sony's standard controller for the future unless it bombs. That doesn't mean DualShock 3s won't continue to be sold, though, as a sort of "Classic Controller".

Yeah right. You have some nice predictive skills there. Kinect might as well be Micosofts next gen controller.
I went from the MX518 and then got the G9x and after a week i could never go back to my 518. Love it.

Were you a claw gripper before? How long did you use the MX518? I would have gone for the G500 if I knew it existed.
Anyone here have or had trouble using the G9/G9x mouse? I came from an MX518. Its like learning to use a mouse again. I can still get a nice KDR but gaming just doesnt feel right.
It shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. That being said, my 360 stopped reading discs and that is not under warranty as it is 2 1/2 years old but, I reported it is a RROD and they simply replaced it for a newer one for me for free. I dont even think they check them anymore...lol. So it can be an advantage.

Arent they generous?
Ive only had to get my 360 serviced four times since Ive owned it. Sure its a hassle but MS pays for shipping. Other companies charge you shipping. And it only takes like 2 weeks for them to send you out a new one. My most recent RROD took a week tops. So no biggie. Its hardware failure. No electronic device is perfect.
Ill take the free repairs for an unbeatable library. Need I mention the titles?
