I dont mind replacing AA batteries on my 360 controllers every once in a while. I mean, it only cost me like $15 a pack and that lasts me probably like half a year or more. Nothing to whine about once you get used to it. People make too big a deal of this. Plus if you buy a rechargeable battery kit for like $20, problem solved.
At least 360 owners dont have to plug in the controller and wait for it to charge up. If I were given a choice, Id choose non-rechargeable controllers for next gen. But thats just me. No USB cords. No low battery warnings. Just a pack of batteries ready at any time. Whos with me?
