They made the driving more realistic, but the shooting not... When you shoot someone in the stomache, you don't see their intestines, dam, you don't even see rips in the clothes or skin. The bullet holes just dissapear, ITS A JOKE

wow you're an idiot

Considering you stated that the N64 is the best console, not to mention that gaming died around the year 2000, why would you even bother trying a recent game on a console you claimed to have sold.

My friend told me GTA 4 was amazing, so I tryed it. Was like a slap in the face

When you say aged, graphics play a big part here:

The lack of Paper Mario is surprising, for me, it has stood perfectly and still looks great to this day thanks to the awesome arty 'paper' graphics.

In order:

1) Paper Mario: for reasons stated above

2) Killer Instinct Gold: love it, has aged great

3) Lylat Wars/SF64 : I could play through it all today and still think it looks awesome

4) The Legend of Zelda: MM: Ocarina of Time may be my favourite game (pretty much other) but this brother of that classic is every bit as good, AND, i would say has aged much better (graphics wise), a great looking game with style.

5) Banjo Tooie: Still looks and plays great

honorable mentions: Super Mario 64: may well be better then some/all of the games up there, and it HAS aged great, but not as well in my eyes, comparing it to its liitle brother (Paper Mario) it hasnt aged half as well. Obviously Goldeneye/Perfect Dark: None of the games up there are anywhere near as blocky, while both of these are obviously amazing games.

[QUOTE="alia999"]

N64 certainly has a claim to the best console ever title, many of the games blew me away in a way no games since have been able to, maybe it was the very well executed transition to 3D but it was simply revelutionary. I still remember all-nighters playing Goldeneye with friends, or the magical Super Mario 64, the epic OoT... If the SNES didnt exist before that, N64 would probably be my favourite as the best console but the SNES was simply mind-blowing (for me).

videogameblow

Game's that were really impressive when n64 launched was waverace or starwars.

i agree though i havent been impressed by any games since n64 basically, i guess it maybe was move from 2d to 3d, but waverace was just so beautiful nice water animations/waves kicked ass you could see fish swimming and coral reef dolphin all kinds of crap was just really impressive for back then.

finally you confess

You can't blow people's heads off or shoot off a limb like in GTA3, and there's hardly any blood. The driving sucks too. It just sucks, how this won Game of the Year, proves how bad the industry has become. Zelda OOT ftw
