I don't think Nintendo will be trying VR for quite some time. They will most likely wait it out and see the competitors fail at it and then fix it for the consumer market. I think Nintendo's next console will go back to a more traditional design. The Wii can realistically exist alongside any new home console they make anyhow. Yes, I think it's back to the basics for Ninty next gen, we shall see...(I could be dead wrong :))
I don't think the series is overrated. It's up to you to have fun with it. The game throws you into a fully interactive world full of crazy things to do. If you can't have fun with that kind of a set-up, then either you have no imagination, or the sandbox genre is just not for you.
I only use a guide when I have no choice, and my own experimentations are proving to be unfruitful for the 2nd hour in a row... Guides tend to ruin the game. I try to avoid them.
well... i think this game got a little overrated, i think the fair score is 85 or 90.... 95 is just feels unfair, i think the game that deserves that score is Zelda, TWEWY, or FF IV

The game is getting these high scores because not only is it not a compromise for the GTA series, but it moves it forward too with new mechanics and ideas. They managed to fit almost every element of a great GTA game into a tiny little cart, and on top of that the game looks amazing and runs smoothly, with realistic physics no-less. CW is a stellar achievement that deserves attention and praise. Just forget about numbers...do you really think there is such a big difference between a 9 and a 9.5? Besides, the games you listed were most likely rated by different editors, all of which have slightly different views.

This generation will be a long one. I don't think Nintendo is planning on releasing another configuration of the Wii console. Their next console will most likely be a stand alone console, possibly with backwards compatibility. Remember, Nintendo never said anything about Wii HD. Michael Pachter is the brilliant analyst that started that foolish rumor.
Don't you worry, Nintendo will not be releasing a new home console with tons of added functionality, not before another3 years, I think.
I knew it! I just knew that Rockstar Leeds were giving us the real Mccoy with this game. I'll have to wait before getting it sadly, since I just bought 3 DS games... But come the month of April, I'll be all over it. ;)
